EPILOGUE

"You're going to marry me. . . right?" I asked as I snaked my right hand on her waist and pulled her closer to me. Kita ko ang bahagya niyang paglunok nang magkalapit ang mukha namin kaya't hindi ko maiwasang mapangiti.
"Right?" tanong kong muli nang hindi siya sumagot.
Marahan siyang tumango at tipid na ngumiti. "Oo naman," sagot niya at umiyak na naman.
I chuckled as I held her cheek using my left hand and wiped her tears. "Why are you crying? Aren't you happy?"
"I was just. . . surprised. Hindi ko naman alam na magpopropose ka. . . Akala ko hindi pa tayo ayos. . ."
"That's all in the past now, wife. We both sinned and repent to it. What's important is the present and what would happen in the future," I answered while wiping her tears.
Mas lalo naman siyang umiyak
