“Oh, there you two are! Such lovebirds.” Bago pa man makaalis ay biglang sumulpot ang daddy ni Avo. I groan inwardly.
“Avo, son, dance with your grandma, hijo,” Avo purses his lips. “Of course, dad.” Saka ko sinulyapan si Avo.
“And you, beautiful Zarniah, go and make an old man happy—dance with Miguel.” Pagtutukoy niya sa lolo ni Avo, which is his father.
“Mr. Miguel Hontiveros?” I asked and I saw him smiled and nodded.
“Now, you two seriously need to get working on my grandkids. I won’t last too much longer.” he gives us both a simpering smile.
Avo blinks at them in horror. “Come, Grandmother,” he says, hurriedly taking the hand of his grandmother in front of us and leading her to the dance floor.
