Agad sinagot ni Gilbert ang kanyang cellphone ng tumunog ito galing sa isang unregistered number. Umaasa parin siyang magbago ang isip ni Maricon sa kanyang desisyon. “Hell! I am expecting,” naisip niya bago sumagot. “Hello,” sagot nito.
