Nanlaki ang mga mata ko nang hawakan niya ang aking braso at hilain palabas ng opisina niya. I stopped and pulled him before he could even step out of the room.
“W-what? Where are we going? Gabi na?” taka kong tanong.
He looked over me. “Magpapakasal. Let’s go.”
Lumaki muli ang mga mata ko. I pulled my hand to stop him from walking again.
“Seriously? Gabi na, Reagan! At talagang ngayon mo na gusto?” hindi makapaniwala kong saad.
He ran his fingers through his hair out of frustration before looking intently at me. Napalunok ako. Para kasing nagbabanta ang mga mata niya. Like he’s telling me tonight is not the perfect timing to pull out a prank on him.
“What if magbago ang isip mo bukas? Fvck! I can’t miss the chance! Kaya tara na!” he said with urgency.
