I have to wake up to a bad news. My long-time nanny since I was a kid will not be able to get here tomorrow because her daughter's sick. And if there's one thing I suck at, that's waking up early in the morning.
I know I don't have to worry too much about being late because technically, I don't report to anyone. But I take professionalism all too seriously that I couldn't afford being a minute late to anything.
Surprisingly, when I get to the office, there's already a to-go cup of my favorite caramel macchiato. Finally, the secretary actually came to work.
