My skin began to itch as a result of the tension that existed between them. Due to the fact that those who were part of a pack were unaware of how difficult their lives were, I was unaware that the Alpha King had a specific project in mind for the outsiders.

A group of rogues expressed their desire to form a pack, and they were not the kind of rogues who would bully or hurt another individual. A group of rogues might have a leader, but because they did not have a connection with one another, they were more likely to betray one another.

When I looked around to see how Alpha Eric was doing, I made sure that my tone was more flirtatious and said, "Honey." After hearing me refer to him by our revolting endearment, he was taken aback by the fact that I had done so. "It would be more beneficial if you would allow the Alpha King to speak with me. You know how I want to help those innocent rogues. I want them to feel how to have a family.”

“I can't understand why my presence isn't needed if you will talk with him. I hate it when someone is trying to---”

What I was unable to comprehend was the reason why Alpha Eric took on the behavior of a jealous husband all of a sudden. He never failed to give me the impression that he trusted me sufficiently, and he was not the type of person who was easily envious. Following the fact that I discovered Rianna sucking his c**k, it was extremely annoying to watch him act like a loyal one.

“Honey, you don't need to worry. Don't you forget about the mate bond? If I will sleep with another man, you will feel it.” I was attempting to be more sarcastic because it made me wonder why there were times when I was unable to feel his betrayal on me.

My wolf had been taken away from me, and I had no idea how I would get her back. Perhaps it was because of my wolf. On the other hand, I did not believe that this was a sufficient reason to prevent me from doing what he was doing. On the assumption that he was trying to avoid being caught by me, I assumed that he was drinking something.

Each and every pack had a strict prohibition against drinking potions. There was no one who was interested in learning how to perform dark magic because it was considered to be an abomination. On the other hand, witches were not considered to be members of the werewolf community. They counted themselves among our adversaries.

I was surprised to see how quickly his expression changed, and it caused a twitch to appear on my lips. Before giving me a hug in front of the Alpha King, he gave me a nod, which gave the impression that he was already relieved. At that precise moment, my entire body went numb. On the one hand, I wanted to push him away, but on the other hand, I did not want to appear embarrassing to the King. I found it enjoyable to preserve his faithful image, which was something that they consistently commented on him.

“Alpha Eric, I'm not aware you're possessive.” Alpha Nathan made a comment, but I was certain that he was attempting to strike a more sarcastic tone toward him.

“She's my Luna. My wife. My other half. I don't want her to be linked with another man. As an Alpha, you know how our wolves get jealous whenever someone is trying to steal our property.” Alpha Eric rebutted. I caught him clenching his jaw before he gave me a stare.

In response, I gave him a nod. The fact that I behaved in a manner that was reminiscent of a loving wife to him was something I wanted to praise. Despite the fact that I was wearing a charming smile, I was taken aback when he placed his hands on my nape completely. After grabbing my head, he proceeded to give me a kiss that made me feel sick. f**k!

“He's too sweet, sadly, his eyes can't lie. It must be so hard for you to know he's having an affair.” I heard Alpha Nathan start talking to me when Alpha Eric left me with him. He c****d his head before he looked at me expressionless.

I was completely taken aback. As he became more forthright in his remarks about Alpha Eric, I had the impression that I had lost the ability to communicate. How stupid of me to be surprised that he knew about his affair. After conducting an investigation, he became the Alpha King, and he knew everything there was to know about it.

"I am not sure what it is about my life that the Alpha King had the audacity to investigate about my husband and me," I said. My nerves caused me to laugh nervously, but he sat on the couch as if he owned it by placing both of his hands on the upper part of the couch. Immediately prior to letting out a sexy laugh, he arched his brow in a seductive manner.

“I don't need to investigate about your husband. I know everything about him. He's an asshole.” he said.

“I want to work with you. I heard you are dedicated to saving those rogues who want to have a pack. I need someone like you to team up with me.” he added.

“Alpha, with due respect, I want to be teamed with someone trustworthy enough. I don't want to sound harsh but I heard your bad reputation in the werewolf community. How will I know I can trust you with those rogues we will rescue?” I frankly informed him, before he stood up and went closer to me. He raised the black card in front of me and waved it while he smirked on his lips.

“I don't think we can talk about the other proposals here in your husband's pack. I'm inviting you to my pack, I will wait for you to go there.” he playfully responded. As he slowly placed the card in the middle of my breast, I found myself separating my lips. The lines on my forehead gradually deepened as I became more and more perplexed. “You must believe in me you will like my proposal for you.”

“I'm not a w***e, Alpha Nathan. I don't f**k with another man.” I angrily snarled. He stopped me by holding my hand and preventing me from returning the card to him. I had taken the card and was about to return it to him.

“I don't give my card to any w***e I know. What makes you think I'm inviting you to have s*x with me? When it comes to being my mistress, you are not my type, and I do not see any reason why you should be." he bluntly snapped. I was speechless when I heard those words coming from his mouth. He looked away then pushed my hand again.

“Are you sure you don't get f**k by another man?--”

“Are you trying to say I'm such a hoe? Despite the fact that I find your objective to be quite fascinating, I are not interested in working with you, Alpha." However, I did not allow him to finish his sentence. Because he insulted me, my feelings were hurt, and I did not like it. I did not like anything.

“You will work with me. Aren't you afraid Alpha Eric might remove you from this pack?”
