VENUS ATHLEA SARVANTES It was already afternoon, and my cousin wasn't around, so I decided to head home since I knew my dress for the party would be there. On my way, my phone rang, and I saw that it was my cousin calling. I answered it with a smile, happy to hear from her. "Hello, cousin," I said cheerfully. "Where are you?" she asked immediately, and I pouted. "Cousin, it's 'hello' first, then the question," I said, pouting. I heard someone in the background with her, and then she said, "Just answer my question. Where are you?" "I'm on my way home, cousin. And who are you with?" I asked. "I'm at home, and I have a surprise for you, so hurry up," she said before hanging up. As I got off the jeep, I thanked the driver and walked towards my house. Our neighbors greeted me, and I smiled in response. When I reached the door, I was surprised to see my cousin's sister, Hera, hugging me from behind. I knew it was her immediately. "Ate Hera, you're back," I said, hugging her back. HERA JADE SARVANTES I saw Venus get off the jeep and smiled, noticing how tall she had grown. I missed her so much. As she walked towards us, our neighbors greeted her, and she smiled back. When she reached us, she was surprised to see me hugging her from behind. "Ate Hera, you're back," she said softly, hugging me back. "Yeah, I'm back, little sister," I whispered, smiling. We hugged for a while, and then Xandra (our cousin) interrupted us. "You two can talk outside, but there are many nosy people listening." Venus and I went inside, and she was excited to see the dress that had been delivered for the party. ALEXANDRA CHLOE SARVANTES Venus was always so carefree and silly. I saw her run towards her room, and I sighed. She was still the same, and I wasn't sure if that was good or bad. "She hasn't changed," Hera said suddenly. "Yeah, she's still silly," I replied, rolling my eyes. "I hope she doesn't go through what she did before," Hera said, looking sad. I clenched my fists at the memory of what happened before. "I won't let that happen again, Ate Hera," I said firmly. Hera looked at me seriously. "Neither will I. She won't get hurt again." VENUS ATHLEA SARVANTES I searched my room for the dress but couldn't find it. I pouted, thinking that Lexi (my cousin) was playing a trick on me. I started searching the house and noticed that something was off about my room. The decorations were different, and the colors were black and white. I slapped my forehead, realizing I was in the wrong room. I saw a long black dress with white accents on the bed and couldn't resist touching it. It was so soft and beautiful. I went downstairs and saw Lexi and Ate Hera talking seriously. "What's going on?" I asked, running towards them. "Did you find it?" Lexi asked immediately. "Not yet. I went to your room by mistake and saw the dress you're wearing. It's beautiful, but it looks expensive. Where did you get it?" I asked. "I borrowed it," Lexi said curtly, looking at me sternly. "From who?" I asked, but she just glared at me. "Don't mind it," she said, walking away. Ate Hera hugged me suddenly. "I missed you, Venus." "I missed you too, Ate Hera," I replied, hugging her back. "I promise I won't leave you again and will protect you," Ate Hera said seriously. I smiled, feeling happy and safe. "Don't go anywhere, okay?" I asked. "I promise," Ate Hera replied, hugging me tightly.
