ATHENA SAMANTHA SAAVEDRA "Cancel my appointment this Saturday," I told my secretary. "But, Ma'am, Mr. Dela Cruz is already here," she replied, and I felt my temper flare up. Before I could yell at her or fire her, I hung up the phone. That old man was trying to get ahead of schedule with his pointless meeting. A while later, my driver, Gaston, announced our arrival. I nodded and looked outside, noticing my employees lined up to the side, except for one girl who caught my attention. My heart started racing for some reason. I needed to consult my doctor. Gaston opened the car door, and I stepped out. Everyone was quiet as I walked towards the building. Suddenly, someone shouted my name, grabbing my attention. "Athena Samantha Saavedra!" The girl's voice made my heart beat faster. People around us whispered, and I knew what they were thinking. I approached her, and my heart continued to pound in my chest. As I got closer, I saw how lovely and innocent she looked. Dug! Dug! Dug! When I reached her, she smiled widely at me. "You need something?" I asked coldly, expecting her to be intimidated. But instead, she smiled even more. "Are you Athena Samantha Saavedra?" she asked again, and I couldn't help but smile at her playfulness. I heard gasps from the crowd. "Yes," I replied. To avoid drawing more attention, I took her hand, and she looked surprised. I nodded to Gaston, who understood what I meant. We stepped into the elevator, and the silence was palpable. When the doors opened, I took her hand again, feeling something I couldn't explain. When we reached my office, my secretary greeted me nervously. "Ma'am Saavedra, Sir Dela Cruz is furious," she said, and I raised an eyebrow. "Take care of her," I said, nodding towards the girl, whom I would ask about her name later. "Yes, Ma'am," my secretary replied. I entered my office, where Mr. Dela Cruz looked furious. I showed him my cold, emotionless eyes. "What do you want, Mr. Dela Cruz?" I asked, and he swallowed hard. "The contract," he stammered. "You're wasting my time. Leave," I said firmly, and his face darkened. He left without a word. I sat down in my chair and called my secretary. "Send her in," I said, referring to the beautiful girl. A moment later, she entered, looking around my office curiously. Bang! Bang! Bang! "Clean this mess NOW," I said coldly, and my people quickly cleaned up the scattered bodies. "Queen," a doll-like woman called out to me, her appearance deceivingly childlike, but hiding something others wouldn't want to see. "Yes?" I asked, staring at her coldly. "About the property and the last will and testament of your two mothers. Your 22nd birthday is on Sunday, and you need to find a wife. If you don't, all your wealth will go to charity," she said, and I nodded. Bull! Why did I forget about that? Yeah, I need to find a wife, not a husband, because I'm a proud lesbian, but I wear some girly outfits and don't like cross-dressers. Wife? Wait, why did I suddenly think of that girl, and my heart started racing again? Dug! Dug! Dug! Her cute smile, pinkish lips, hazel brown eyes, and she's almost perfect. "Queen, you're creepy," Abigail Silva suddenly said. "Why?" I asked coldly. "You suddenly smiled, and I've never seen that before. And what's with the whispers inside your company? That you're with a beautiful woman?" she said with a smile. "Tsk," I replied and stood up, leaving her. It seems I've found her. My memories went back to the past two days. FLASHBACK "What's your name?" I asked, noticing her glancing around my office. "Venus Athlea Sarvantes, but you can call me Venus," she said with a smile, and I nodded, feeling something in my stomach. Venus suits her perfectly, like the Goddess of Beauty. After a few minutes of silence, I heard a rumbling sound, and she suddenly blushed. I smiled, noticing my own smile. "Hungry?" I asked, and she nodded shyly. "Sorry, Ms. Athena, I forgot to eat earlier because I was in a hurry to see you," she said, still blushing. I felt my cheeks heat up, and she looked at me, so I quickly turned away. What the? I'm blushing? Tsk! Tsk! "What do you want to eat?" I asked while facing away, and she suddenly shouted, "Jollibee!" When I turned around, I saw her jumping up and down. "Hahaha, cute," I said, and she stopped, smiling at me. I dialed my secretary on the intercom, and she answered quickly. "Good afternoon, Ms. Saavedra, what can I do for you?" she asked. "Jollibee," I replied coldly, and she fell silent before asking again. "Ms. Saavedra, what food do you want to order?" she asked, and I looked at Venus. "What do you want to order?" I asked, and she quickly replied, "Chicken with rice and extra rice, coke with extra large fries, mango sundae, and another extra large fries." I raised an eyebrow at her repetition of fries. "Celine, this is my order: 1 bucket of chicken with extra rice, 2 large cokes, 3 extra large fries, 2 mango sundaes," I said, and Celine repeated the order before hanging up. "Wahhh, thank you," Venus exclaimed and hugged me, making my heart beat faster and my stomach feel strange. When she let go, she looked up at me shyly, and I turned away, blushing. "W-welcome," I stuttered. Celine entered with our food, smiled, and bid us farewell. I handed Venus her order, and she drooled at the sight. Cute! "Let's eat," I said coldly, and she nodded, starting to eat. After a few minutes, she dipped her fries in the sundae, and I was surprised. She noticed me staring and offered me a fry with sundae. "Please," she begged, pouting, and I smiled. "Ok. Thank you," I said, taking the fry, and we both started eating. When she got ice cream on the side of her mouth, I grabbed a tissue and wiped it off. She stopped suddenly, and I didn't notice how close our faces were... "I'll drive you home," I said coldly, but she suddenly shook her head. What the? Doesn't she want to be with me? Tsk! "I'll have you driven home then," I said coldly, my voice tinged with slight annoyance. "Thank you," she said, and I nodded, taking out my phone to find Gaston's number. "Hello, Ms. Saavedra, do you need anything?" he asked politely on the other end. "Drive Ms. Sarvantes home and make sure she doesn't get a single scratch," I said with a hint of warning, and he fell silent for a moment. "Y-es, young lady," he replied quickly, and I hung up. I quickly called Celine, who entered immediately, and I looked at her coldly. "Escort Ms. Sarvantes to Gaston and make sure she doesn't get even a tiny cut or mosquito bite," I said coldly, and she nodded quickly. "You may go," I said to them, and I was surprised when Venus suddenly approached me and kissed me on the cheek. "Thank you, see you next Saturday," she said with a smile, and I nodded, not wanting to smile in front of others. After they left, I couldn't help but smile. And I think I'm acting like a fool now. END OF FLASHBACK I think I've found the one I'll marry, not because of the wealth I'll lose, but because of her. Venus, you'll be mine, only mine! Venus Athlea Sarvantes, you'll be my wife soon.
