Chapter Forty
Nakauwi na kami galing sa resort. It’s been days. For the past days, Wilbert has been texting me. I just realized na kaya pala siya palaging nagt-text even before the outing was because he likes me. I don’t know what to do about that.
Ayaw ko din naman siyang paasahin. He is my friend. He will always be. I don’t think my feelings would just magically change just because he likes me. I love Wilbert. It’s just that, I love him as a friend. I have known him for so long and I only see him that way.
I like someone else. Benjamin Alastair del Rosario may not like me back, but I would never just divert my feelings to someone who likesme just because it’s convenient for me. No, I would never do that.
