Chapter 7

Jade.

My hands are trembling and I can't control myself.

"Jade? Are you okay? Zeea is asking you?" I was brought back from reality when Hera snapped her fingers in front of my face.

Zeea's face suddenly turned into a worried one, am I just daydreaming? So Zeea revealing my secret wS just my imagination? I mentally sighed in relief. They are looking at me confused so I smiled at them.

"A-Ano ulit iyon?" Tanong ko.

"Please accompany me to comfort room." Nakangiting sabi niya kaya tumango ako at tumayo para samahan siya.

Nang makarating kami sa loob ay agad niyang isinara ang pinto ay ini-lock iyon. Bigla akong kinabahan sa ginawa niya.

"Jade... I didn't know that the Hera you've been mumbling when we first saw you was Hera Althea Tan." Her expression suddenly become soft. She looks worried.

"Why didn't you let her know your condition?" Kunot noong tanong niya kaya napayuko ako.

"Zeea, hindi siya maniniwala sa akin. I'm still trying to ask her for forgiveness." Napasinghap siya sa sinabi ko.

"Jade, she will believe you. You have all the evidence in your body." Umiling ako at nagsimulang pumatak ang mga luha ko.

"I can't believe what my own eyes saw when Reene brought you that day to the hospital." I bit my lower lip to supress my sob.

"Zeea, please hayaan mong ako ang magsabi lahat kay Hera." Zeea and Reene are best of friends eversince they attended High School.

"To think that my girlfriend is Hera's bestfriend." She also started crying kaya bigla akong nag-panic.

"No Zeea, don't cry please. Alam kong hindi ako nababanggit sayo ni Sabrina at isa pa ay sinekreto natin sa lahat kung ano ang kalagayan ko." Sabi ko at pinunasan ang mga luha niya.

"I'm sorry, I didn't visit you again. I was so busy with my work and I forgot you and Reene." Umiling ako at ngumiti.

"Hindi naman kami nagdadamdam ni Reene. Pwede mo kaming makasama kahit kailan." Nakangiting sabi ko kaya ngumiti na din siya.

"Can I see your..." She hesitated for a moment but I understand what she means kaya tinanggal ko ang suot kong hoodie jacket at naiwan ang suot kong bra. Her hands went on my stomach where the big scar was.

"This are the permanent reminder of how cruel life is to you." I bit my lower lip to stop mysef from crying. Nagpunta siya sa likod ko at narinig ko ang pagsinghap niya.

"Oh God! You back part..." Isinuot ko na muli ang hoodie jacket ko at hinarap siya nang may ngiti sa labi.

"Don't cry Zeea. Kailangan na anting lumabas, baka nagtataka na sila bakit ang tagal natin." Sabi ko kaya pinunasan niya ang mga luha niya at kahit napipilitan ay lumabas na kami, mabuti nalang at walang taong naghihintay sa labas. Nang makaupo kami ay halata ang kunot ng noo ni Sabrina.

"Your eyes are red. You cried!?" Napatingin si Sabrina sa akin at tila nagtatanong ang mga mata.

"You cried too!?" Napalunok ako nang mapansin kong nakatingin din sa akin si Hera.

"I just miss her love. I've been too busy to forgot my bestfriends." Sabi ni Zeea kaya natuon sakanya lahat ng atensyon.

"Since Sunday naman bukas, pwede ko ba siyang makasama Hera? We'll also take Reene with us." Sabi nito kaya napatingin kami kay Hera. She's emotionless kaya kinabahan ako.

"Okay..." Napangit ako sa sagot niya at excited na humarap kay Zeea.

"Thanks!" She said happily.

"What about me?" Tanong ni Sabrina kaya napatingin si Zeea sakanya.

"What about you?" Tanong naman ni Zeea.

"I'll come with you." Sabi nito kaya natawa si Zeea.

"Nope. You have duty tommorrow Doctor Sabrina. We'll take Reene with us meaning it's bestfriends date!" Sabi nito kaya tinawanan nila si Sabrina na kumunot lang ang noo.

"Seriously Sab? You're a certified under!" Pangangantyaw ni Rose kaya nagtawanan na ang lahat. Napansin ko ang pamumutla ni Hera at akmang hahawakan ang kamay niya nang pigilan ko ang sarili ko.

"H-Hera? A-Ayos ka lang ba?" May pag-aalalang tanong ko kaya napatingin din sila sakanya.

"I'm fine." Mababa ang boses na saad niya.

"I think it's better if we take her home. She's pale." Sabi ni Kyla kaya nagtanguan ang lahat.

"I'm fine. Don't worry about me." Sabi niya pero tumayo na sila.

"Umuwi na tayo Tan, pinapagod mo na naman ang sarili mo." Seryosong sabi ni Sabrina kaya bumuntong-hininga naman si Hera at tumayo ma din. Hinawakan ko ang braso niya para alalayan siya nang muntik na siyang matumba. She didn't remove my hands kaya napangiti ako.

'Atleast I can touch her.' I mentally beamed.

"Do you know how to drive?" Tanong ni Rose kaya umiling ako.

"I can manage." Sabi ni Hera pero pinigilan siya nila Kyla at ang ending ay si Zeea nalang ang nag-drive dahil marunong ito sa pagmamaneho.

Hera is now sleeping, she's leaning on my shoulders while her face is burried on my neck.

"You look good together." Zeea commented, I think I blushed.

"Sabrina told me that both of you are college sweethearts. The remarkable couple they say." Napailing ako sa paglalarawan nito sa amin.

"Hera excels in every sports we know, she possess the beauty of a goddess and well not to mention that she's one hell of a businesswoman on her age." I chuckled.

"The four of them are remarkable people Zeea. The four of them are called 'The Goddesses' when we are in college. They all excel in sports and not to mention they are also a goal oriented person. Hera is known for her outstanding performance in sports. Sabrina is known for being the brain of their group, she's literally that genius." Zeea chuckled on what I've said.

"Kyla... She's like the person you don't want to mess with. She's very fun and outgoing person but she's dangerous." Naalala ko kung paano niya protektahan ang mga kaibigan niya nang minsang magkaroon ng away sa school. She basically beat those jerks with just her bare hands.

"Rose is the beauty and seductress of their group. She can charm you by just simply smiling at you. She never dated anyone despite of her beauty. Don't get me wrong, all of them are wise students but I can say that they have thier own charming point." I smiled when I remember our memories.

"But you manage to tame their wild side. You're also the 'studies first' student that time but you manage to make the great Hera to fall inlove with you and well you even fell inlove with her too." Napatingin ako kay Zeea sa sinabi niya.

"Sabrina's parents they are really happy because according to them, they are happy that their daughter is now genuinely happy and that's because of me." Napangiti ako sa sinabi niya.

"Hera's dad is already dead." Napatingin ako kay Hera, hindi ko alam ang bagay na yon.

"She needs you Jade. You also need her." I sighed and close my eyes. I bit my lower lip to supress myself from crying. Zeea is right, we both need each other but Hera's not yet ready to forgive me.

"Jade, Hera will forgive you after she learns the truth. You just need to be honest with her. You never cheated on her. I believe you, pagkatapos ng lahat ng nalaman ko? I know you really love Hera so much." Naguguluhan parin ako at pinangungunahan ng takot at kaba.

"The only person who can help you right now is Hera. The person who made your life a living hell is still free and lurking around like they didn't do something cruel to you." Zeea's right. I know our paths will cross, hindi man ngayon pero pakiramdam ko ay malapit na ang panahon na yon.

"You lost too much Jade. You don't deserve this." She look at me with her worried expression.

"Paano kung hindi ako tanggapin ni Hera? Paano kung hindi siya maniniwala sa akin?" Tanong ko sakanya.

"My mother still have your medical records when you're still recovering from trauma." Ang hirap pala ng stiwasyon ko. Natatakot akong kapag isiniwalat ko ang lahat ay bigla na lamang akong pandirian at iwan ni Hera. I'm fine with our set up right now, she can hurt me physically or anything and I can take it but for her to leave me again? Hindi ko na yata ulit kaya.

"Mangako ka sakin na wala kang pagsasabihan ng nangyari hanggang hindi ako umaamin kay Hera." Sabi ko kaya napatingin sa akin si Zeea.

"I hate keeping secret from Sabrina but if that's your decision then I'll respect it." Sabi niya kaya ngumiti ako.

"Salamat Zeea." She shake her head.

"You know me, but I know Reene won't like this." I sighed again. Reene is protective to us.

"I will be the one to explain to her." Sabi ko kaya tumango siya. Nang makarating kami sa bahay ni Hera ay agad nilang ipinarada ang mga sasakyan nila kaya lumabas na kami. Tinulungan nila akong alalayan si Hera papunta sa kwarto nito.

"She's having a fever and she looks pale. Kulang sa pahinga." Sabi ni Sabrina.

"This woman really love to exhaust her self." Naiiling na sabi ni Kyla.

"She never change." Rose chuckled and suddenly face me.

"Why did Hera drag you here?" Tanong nito na nagpakaba sa akin.
