Hindi ko na alam yung gagawin ko dito. Nababaliw na ata ako. Ngumingiti ako mag-isa dito sa desk. Baka paalisin pa ako sa library sa nangyayari sa akin. Mamaya ko na papansinin yung lalaking yun, lakas ng amats ako pa ang napag tripan.

"Excuse me, freshie?" tanong ng student na bagong pasok dito.

"Uhm yes po, anything I could help you with?" tanong ko sa kaniya

"None, I see your new here. Nag-iba na yung student-staffs here." anito

"Lorenzo by the way," sabay lahad ng palad niya

"Bernadette," pakilala ko

"It's nice to meet you Bernadette," dagdag pa niya ngumiti ako kay Lorenzo. Sabay dako ng tingin sa pwesto nila Marco na ngayon ay wala na doon. Geez, akala ko ba boyfriend ko siya tapos aalis ng walang paalam. Sa kabila kasi yung exit may ibang student na naka assign doon, asa pa ako.

"Looking for someone?" tanong ni Lorenzo.

"Uhm just checking some available seat for you," pasakalye ko na mas lalong ikinangiti niya.

"That' very nice of you Bernadette, thank you," pasasalamat niya sa akin.

"It's my duty Lorenzo," saad ko dito

" I see Nade (Ney-di)," he assured me

"Oh well Lori, I think you need to finish something important about school," I told Lori. And we both laughed.

SCHOOL GATE

Tapos na yung duty ko, wala na akong balita kay Marco. I think they are really busy. Tumunog yung tiyan ko hudyat na kailangan ko ng kumain. Napahinto ako sa isang convinience store to buy a sandwich and water. I was finding a seat until someone is already waiting for me to seat with him.

"Marco," tawag ko sa kaniya. He seemed upset. I think they are not going through their work. Pumuwesto ako sa table niya.

"Got my proposal?" he asked, but why is he looking down the table? Pero ngayon lang nag sink in yung sinabi niya sa akin saka ko naalala yung nangyari sa library.

"Will you be my girlfriend Bernadette Smith?" he proposed to me. I froze for while. Am I ready? I glared him seeking for more details.

"We knew each other for quite a while, and I want to be with you as your boyfriend. Seeing that guy a while ago coping your attention urges me to be with you. Ayoko na mawala ka pa," litanya ni Marco "I love you Bernadette," he confessed. Marco then grab my palms and plot small kisses on them. I never felt this way to anyone. He made me feel so special. Crush ko siya, and I think my feeling are getting deeper.

"I love you Marco Alvarez," there I said it. He smiled at me and quickly stand to embrace me so tight para hindi makawala.

*Stomach grumps

"Uhmm sorry to interrupt, but I think I need to eat my snack first," inform ko kay Marco na tumatawa na.
