CASSANDRA’s POV:
I don’t know how long I was unconscious. I slowly opened my eyes and the familiar smell of my old room greeted me. My heartbeat was normal. I don’t feel any pain. My room was dark. I am still here in Bulacan. I heaved out. Out of nowhere, the light spread all over the room.
“The heck!” Napapikit ako ulit dahil sa sobrang liwanag. Puno ng benda ang aking braso. Nakaramdam ako ng sakit sa balikat. Siguro dahil sa kakahampas ko sa glass cabinet kanina.
“Hey you too!” Malamig na tugon ni Raider. Sinamaan ko lang siya ng tingin. Pero hindi ito natinag. On the other hand, I was thankful I got the chance to rest. “Let’s head out, you must be starving.” Aya niya sa akin. “Teka bakit iba na ang dami ko!” Bulalas kong tanong sa kanya.
