It was late when I got home. Tinapos ko na kasi ang lahat para wala na akong babalikan bukas. I want to spend the rest of the holidays to Kyla and I want us to tour around not just Sorrento but the entire Italy.

Excited ako nang lumabas sa kotse at bitbit ang iilan na pasalubong ko sa kanya. Si Mama agad ang sumalubong sa akin.

"How's the medical mission, hijo?" Sabay yakap at halik ni Mama sa pisngi ko.
"All good, Ma. Thank you. Si, Kyla? Um, Kylie?" agad na tugon ko.
I cleared my throat as I spill her name. Sana nga lang hindi ito narinig ng ina ko.
"Well, I think she's upstairs. Napagod din iyon. We had a great dinner anyway," kindat ni Mama sa akin.
