“Aurora, how long will we need to wait?” Dad knock-on my door.
“Coming, Dad.”
Dad smiles as he watches me going down the stairs, but it shocked me when I see Gio waiting for me at the end of the stairs. My dress paired on the suit he was wearing. My theme for tonight is an Audrey Hepburn style. I am wearing a black tube dress up to my knee and pair it with a lace glove and black hat.
Hindi na ako nagpaparlor dahil biglaan lang na sinabi ni Dad ang party na ito. At hindi ko nga akalain na ininvite niya rin si Gio. i’m not ready to have partner tonight. All I want is a piece of mind not another stress because of this guy.
“What are you doing here?” hindi ko mapigilang tanong sa kanya.
He just smiled and reached for my hand. “I miss you too, baby!” he said
