Heiress 36: Intrams Day III

Jace's POV

I woke up early and took a bath I wore a pair of cotton pants and white shirt. I wore my gray jacket and went out of the room I'm sharing with Elijah, Caspian and Ethan.

I went to the dining room and unsurprisingly, I saw Lavalee sitting on the table, she haven't seen me because she's facing the other direction.

"Morning." She greeted and faced me

"Morning." I replied and went to the stove.

She had already cooked rice so I turned on the stove and pre-heated the pan.

"What do you want?" I asked and faced her.

She's just there leaning on the counter while looking at me.

"You decide. We packed enough food for a week in the fridge." She said and pointed the fridge.

I opened it and took ham and butter. I placed a slice of butter on the pan and placed three slices of ham.

"Have you drank anything?" I asked her and she shrugged before shaking her head. It's still dark outside so

"Don't worry, I'm used to it." She said and sat on the counter

After a while, I finished cooking and served it on the table, I looked at the time and that's when I noticed thet it's too early. It's just 4:23AM.

"What time did you wake up?" I asked her but she pursed her lips and I got her answer

"You know – I know." She cut me off and sat on the table.

I stood up and took two cups, I made two coffees and placed milk instead of creamer on hers. I placed the cup and saucer in front of her and she looked confused.

"Drink this. You might catch cold." I said and she lifted the cup slowly

"Thank you." She said after taking a sip

I sipped on my cup of coffee and looked at her. She's wearing a sleeveless top the doesn't cover her belly button and a pair of cotton pants.

"Aren't you cold?" I asked her

"I'm used to it." She said softly

"I'm going to jog." She said after finishing her cup of coffee

"Wearing that?" I asked with a raised brow

"Uh yes." She answered so I shook my head and took off my jacket

"Wear this." I said and gave her my jacket

"No need." She said and gave it back but I glared at her

"Isusuot mo o isusuot ko sayo?" I asked coldly

"If you can." She said teasinglu so I took it and held her arms

Her eyes widened when she realized I really would put it on her. She was frowning while wearing my jacket that seems too big for her.

"Let's go." I said and we went out of the villa. I made sure we covered the foods before we left the villa.

We were jogging around the place and I noticed how the guys looked at Lavalee as she did some stretching while we're here on the park. She took off my jacket and it irritates me because I can see how the guys are looking at Lavalee. They were looking at her like she's some kind of prey.

"Wear the jacket." I told her coldly

"Dreice, I'm fine." She reasoned out and placed her hand on her waist

"Wear it." I said coldly and she rolled her eyes completely ignoring me

Sometimes I want to tie her for being so stubborn.

"Lavalee." I warned her but she still ignored me so I held her by the waist and took the jacket off from being tied to her waist.

"Jace!" she complained with a glare.

I smirked after successfully putting the jacket on. I placed my face beside her

"You're attracting men's attention. I don't want that." I whispered and distanced myself

I saw her face flushed then continued to exercise like nothing happened. We jogged around the place then back to the villa. When we arrived, they're all seated on the table and it seems like Lavalee and I are the only ones they're waiting for.

"Saan kayo galing?" the professor asked us when she saw us enter the dining room.

"Nag-jogging po." I heard Lavalee replied

I went to one of the cabinets and took two plates and two pairs of cutlery.

"Are you ready for your matches?" I heard Mrs. Conchia asked and we all nodded.

I placed rice on the plates and brought it back to the table, only the plate of ham is at the middle of table.

"Thank you." Lavalee said when I placed the plate in fron of her, I sat beside her and took two pieces of ham and put it on my plate. We started eating in silence, well I think if this was a normal situation if we don't have a professor with us, they would've been talking and chattering.

After we ate, we washed our own dishes and went to our room to prepare. I wore a red short that reaches up to my thighs and red and black shirt with my last name printed under a number. I wore a black and red shoes and black high socks then went out.

"Nice." Lavalee complimented and my brows furrowed when I saw what she's wearing. She's just wearing a damn sports b*a and red shorts. Her black high socks and black and red shoes.

"Jersey mo." Irene said and tossed a jersey to Lavalee which she wore.

"Are you ready?" Mrs. Conchia asked and we nodded

This soccer game is not limited to boys only, girls can also join but of course some doesn't really want join.

We rode the van and on our way Chelsea kept on instructing us about the strategy in the game and how we would win.

Jaxith, Icarus and I would be the attackers, Hendrix would be the goal keeper, Irene, Jess and Lavalee would be the mid fielder and Ethan, Caspian, Chelsea, and Elijah would be the defenders. Mrs. Conchia asked Icarus to be the team captain but Icarus said that Lavalee is the best choice so she became the team captain.

When we arrived at the soccerfield we began with the introduction of the team members and their captain and of course many are surprised that some of our members and our team captain are girls. The first half began and the opponent have the ball.

Lavalee had the ball and she was surrounded which made me worried because our opponents are guys and Lavalee is a girl. What she did was out of the strategy she did a play of going to the right and suddenly kicked the ball to Irene who passed it to Jess and back to Lavalee who was already running to the goal and when she received the ball she kicked it without hesitation.

"And Goal!" the announcer announced and we looked at scoreboard

5-3, we won even though we got the under hand during the first half because the opponent scored twice while we have only scored once, we managed to get even with the score on the second half and we did it.

We continued up the ranking until it was already lunch time, we managed to defeat the opponent and after that we ate at the nearby fastfood.

Mrs. Conchia didn't join us because she has meeting with the facilitators and fellow teachers from other schools. Jaxith and Icarus volunteered to buy the food and Caspian accompanied them.

"Ang galing niyo kanina." Elijah said and Irene and Jess high fived

"Ang bilis niyo namang mag-isip ng strategy kanina." Ethan said and Chelsea shook her head

"That was Lavalee's signature move." Chelsea said while looking at Lavalee

Suddenly a group of guys came to our table.

"Oii bro!" one greeted us with a smile

"Oii!" Ethan greeted back with a smile

"What do you want?" I asked coldly and their smiles faded but they smiled again

"Gusto lang sana namin makipagkilala." The other one said

"Go ahead." Lavalee said boredly and leaned.

I thought she'll lean on the back rest but intead she leaned on me

"Hi! Ako nga pala si Francis." The one said and combed his hair with his hand

"Ryan nga pala." The other one said and offered his hand which none of the girls took

"Ako naman si Kashim." The other one said and waved his hand

"Ako si Cyrus." The other one said and bit his lip

"Damien nga pala." The other one said and winked at Chelsea.

"Ako naman si Gregory." The other one said and leaned on our table

"Excuse me, bro." Jaxith said and pushed the guys aside.

They placed the trays on the table, I took the pineapple juice and spaghetti ang placed in front of Lavalee. I took the steak, and coke. The guys who approached our table stayed and I raised my brow at them.

"Gusto niyo lang makipagkilala, right?" Irene asked and the guys nodded

"Ba't nandito pa kayo? Nakapagpakilala na kayo." Irene said bluntly and the guys seemed to be embarrassed

"A- anong pangalan niyo?" one asked

"Talia Go." Chelsea said with a smile

"Blare Jang." Irene said boredly and leaned on her seat

"Jira Han." Jess said icily

"Valerie." Lavalee said still leaning on me

"Ah s-sige, Nice meeting you." They said and rushed to go away

"Nakakatakot talaga kayo." Jaxith said while shaking his head

We began eating and I'm only using my right hand because Lavalee is still leaning on my left shoulder while eating her pasta boredly.

"Alam mo, hindi makakain ng ayos si Jace dahil sayo." Hendrix said while eating his steak.

I looked at Lavalee and she looked up to me with wide eyes before sitting up properly.

"Sorry." She said but I shook my head signalling it's alright.

We continued eating, they were discussing about different strategies and possible talent for the Pageant tonight and for the match later. We still have the final match later after lunch.

"Wait. Why is my drink a pineapple juice?" Lavalee asked while holding the cup I placed in front of her.

"You've been drinking too much softdrinks." I answered and sipped on my Sprite

"Jace did it for you, Lav. Baka magka UTI ka kaka-softdrinks." Chelsea said calmly

"But all of you are drinking coke!" she complained

"I'm not." I said and showed her my cup

She rolled her eyes and drank the pineapple juice.

"Healthy living, Lav?" Jaxith teased and Lavalee glared at her

Suddenly my phone rang so I had to answer it.

[Jace!] my forehead knotted when I heard the irritating voice of Jean

"What?" I asked coldly

[I heard you're in Tagreesha! Sinabi ni Tita Kaycee.] she said

"So?" I asked and I heardn her whining things to Tita Jenny

This brat.

[Buy me a dress from the mall.] she ordered

"Do it yourself." I said coldly

[But Jace! Come on! It's dangerous what if I get kidn*pped? Paano na si Mommy, you know? Sige na, Jace.] she continued to whine

"Stop it. Ask someone else." I said and hanged up

I saw them looking amused so I looked beside and there I saw Lavalee's glaring eyes and frowning face.

"What?" I asked her and she rolled her eyes at me

"We might have forgotten to tell you." Irene said with a mischievous smile

"Ayaw ni Lavalee na gumamit kami ng phone kapag may kaharap na pagkain." Icarus said and we stood up to leave the fastfood.

Lavalee's still ignoring me and unlike earlier she's sticking up with the girls and acted as if I don't exist.

"Lagot ka, bro." Jaxith said and placed his arms over my shoulder

"Wag ka mag-alala mga three dauys ka lang namang di papansinin ni Lav." Icarus said and placed his arm over my shoulder

"I didn't know." I said and they shook their head

"Alam namin pero kasi kilala mo naman si Lav, ayaw niyang may bumabali sa rules niya kahit pa clueless ka." Jaxith said

We went back to the field for the final game and of course we won.

"Nice game, bros." Jaxith said and ofered his hand to our opponent but they just glared at him so Jaxith took his hand back.

"Sa susunod ulit?" Elijah said and smiled but they chose to scoff at him and walked pass them. The players's from the other teams bumped Jaxith and Elijah's shoulders as they passed by.

"What is your problem?" Irene asked and pulled the shoulder of the last player to face her

"Kinakausap kayo ng ayos, tatalikuran at bubungguin niyo?" Irene asked

"Ire, let it go." Chelsea said and held Irene's shoulder

"No, you should let her, Talia. Blare's just curious why these assholes don't know the word sportsmanship." Jess said boredly obviously mocking the players from the other teams

"Babae kayo kaya hindi namin kayo papatulan." The team captain said

"Or are your damn egos getting ahead of you for being beaten by a group with four girls when in fact there's 11 of you." Jess said continously mocking the other team

"Jira, enough." Chelsea chastised

"Wag na nating palakihin." Caspian said and tapped Jess and Irene's shoulders

"Duwag." With that word the players from the other team went to surround Jess and Irene

"Bro, babae yan." Ethan warned the players

"Jira. Blare. Enough." When Lavalee warned them Jess and Irene stopped and bowed

"Sunodsunuran pala kayo eh." One of the members said

"They're not. They only know that engaging in a fight with people who can't accept defeat is useless. Ego really get the best of you, huh?" Lavalee said while walking towards them

"Let's go." Icarus said and turned his back one of the members is supposed to throw a punch at Elijah since he's the last but Irene held his hand

"Blare." Lavalee warned and I saw how Irene twisted the guys's arm at the back and made him kneel

"Don't test her patience." Jess said and pointed at Lavlee who's walking away

"Let's go." Icarus repeated and we left the field

"Congrats!" Mrs. Conchia greeted us when we arrived at the villa.

"You should get ready, Valerie, I heard that the other contestants have been preparing since this afternoon." Mrs. Conchia said

"Mrs. Conchia, can I go to the mall first?" this is the first time I heard Lavalee asked permission

"Are you going to prepare there?" Mrs. Conchi asked and Lavalee nodded

"Alright then. I'll have to go ahead to the venue. Don't be late okay?" Mrs. Conchia said before walking out of the door

"What will you do in the mall?" Chelsea asked Lavalee

"I just need to relax." Lavalee said

"Si Jace nalang isama mo." Icarus said

"What?" Lavalee asked like she can't believe it

"Siya lang ang may sasakyan. Dinala ni Mrs. Conchia yung van." Hendrix said

"Okay." Lavalee said and pulled me to the garage

"Here." She said and placed her phone on the stand

I drove to the place and halted when I saw that it's a public mall. I didn't expect this at all.

"Let's go." She said and opened the door

I followed her inside the mall and she held my hand when we're inside.

She went to a bookstore and bought a book, I held the paper bag when she ran to the arcade. If Mrs. Conchia found out what she's currently doing, Mrs. Conchia would scold her but knowing Lavalee, this is her kind of relaxation.

She went to the game where she would shoot people. I heald her hand from behind and I can feel that she was stoned to the spot.

"Sorry." I apologized

"I didn't know." I added
