I bolted upright from the sofa bed when I realized that my pillow is already soaking wet. I'm well aware that I cried myself to sleep last night, but no, it was not drenched because of my tears. It was just raining. I was tempted to catch a few drops on my palm but hesitated when I felt the all too familiar ache in my chest.
