"Madi-distract ka ba kapag nag-music tayo?" Bethany asked while I was checking the rearview mirror before changing lane.
It's raining and we were off to a coffee shop in Zapote. I took driving lessons for several days and she's letting me drive her car para raw makapag-practice ako.
"I don't mind, go ahead," I replied.
"'Yang wiper bilisan mo pa," she ordered as she turned on the radio and glanced at me again.
"Can I choose the station?"
"Sure," I replied absent-mindedly.
"Hindi ka makikipag-wrestling?" she sounded shocked.
"I said go ahead."
Madalas kaming mag-unahan kung anong patutugtugin kapag nasa biyahe pero wala ako sa mood makipagtalo sa kanya ngayon.
"Wow, that's new. Are you okay?" she asked while looking at me closely.
"Shut up insan, exaggerated ka," I rolled my eyes.
