Those are the words that went out of Kriesha's lips when she heard my answer to her question.
"When are you planning to tell him?" she asked me.
Nagkibit-balikat ako. "Hindi ko alam," sagot ko. "Masyado pang magulo ngayon. Gusto ko rin sanang magkaayos muna kami ni Emma. There's no need to rush things."
"Iyah, you're not rushing anything by telling him what you feel," she told me. "And besides, years had passed already. Marami na ang nawalang taon sa inyong dalawa na dapat ay kayo. Emma has no say about your feelings for Drew. Sa inyong dalawa lang 'yan. She's out of the picture."
"Kriesh, kaibigan ko si Emma," giit ko. "Kaibigan natin."
"So, are you planning to give Drew away to her again?" iritado niyang tanong sa akin.
