Friday is no different from the other days of the week. However, this time, I arrived a little because of an unexpected traffic. This is my first time coming to work late.
There is a saying that says 'There is always a first time for everything'. And I guess that first time is today.
"Good morning! Sorry, I'm late. Traffic!" I said a little loud for my co-workers to hear as I stepped into our floor.
I half-run to my office checking the time on my wristwatch. I only got a little time before my meeting starts.
"Morning Steph, what do you got for me?" I smiled at her as I head straight into my office.
She told me all my to-do things for today while tailing me. "... And lastly, a lovely bouquet has arrived early this morning for you Ms. Lopèz." She smiled brightly.
