My shoulders slumped. I groaned out loud and forced myself to hear his ten commandments.
“Mag-order ka ng pagkain kung nagugutom ka na. If you don’t want delivery food, go out and go to the mall. Manong Bernard will be with you…”
“Yeah… yeah…” I waved my hand in the air as if he was seeing me.
Ilay was still talking about some nonsense but my eyes were fixated on my window. Dahan-dahan akong ngumisi nang marahan ko iyong binaba. Tinabing ko rin ang kurtina. Next, I went towards the door and made sure to lock it. Ilay certainly couldn’t do anything now if I wanted to do something else that was actually exciting!
