CHAPTER 3

Cassandra was walking towards her room when she suddenly heard the screams of the women inside the court. She rolled her eyes because she knew who was the cause of the screams and screams of the women inside. Lizzy walked closer to her with a frown. "Something happened?" she asked, but she just shook her head, denying that something was wrong. She smiled, “What is it, Lizzy? You're not used to me yet? Oh come on. Let’s go.” Creased when Lizzy looked at Cassy as she walked towards the inside of the court. She adjusted her stature and her short hair. She was walking with confidence and everyone inside the court was getting her attention. "Hi, Cassy!" a lousy and nerdy man greeted her. She smirked at him, but he ignored it and continued walking towards his seat. She was smiling when she finally got seated. She immediately saw Clark playing with the team. She waved her hands at him when he looked in her direction. Clark smiled when Cassandra did that. “Hey, Clark. It looks like Cassy likes you,” said one of her teammates. "I don't think so." “Just look at her. You can see that the person likes you,” said Jimuel, Clark’s friend. Clark just stared at her while still not losing the smile on his lips. Cassandra grinned at him and Misty saw that. She was gritting her teeth while looking at her. She was disgusted with what Cassy was doing. Misty stood up and walked over to where Cassy was. Cassy "Oh, Misty?" “What do you think you’re doing?” she asked and she flipped her hair in front of her. “What do you mean, Misty? Did I do something you didn't like?” she asked her teasingly. “Don’t be so full of yourself, Cassy. You are only brave because you are rich. What if one day you lose all your wealth? What are you suffering? Can you live without moving money?” She adjusted her seat and applied the rest of her right foot to her left foot. “Look, Misty. I don't know why you're so mad at me. I never did anything wrong to you. So, if I did anything, I wanted to say sorry.” She scoffed, "Do you think sorry is enough?" “W-What? What are you talking about?” “Leave Clark alone, Cassy. He doesn't like you. He has a girlfriend, you might get hurt,” she reminded her. Cassandra laughed as she listened to what Misty was saying. “Misty? What are you saying? If you can speak, are you girlfriend? Why would I avoid myself from him? Eh, I wanted him, and I wanted him to be mine, and I’m doing anything that I can. So, you better leave me alone, and don’t block what I want to do.” “Your courage too, Cassy. That's all. Does he like you? Are you confident enough that he will like you?” “Yes, of course. I am confident enough.” “Okay. I’m looking forward to that.” Misty walked away from Cassandra. She smirked and leaned her back in her chair and focused on looking at the game. Lizzy leaned over her, sweating profusely as she ran towards the court. “Lizzy, you’re sweating. Here, take this,” Cassandra handed her the handkerchief she was holding. It was a checkered handkerchief and Lizzy remembered that it was Cassandra’s favorite handkerchief of all her handkerchiefs. Lizzy frowned as she stared at the handkerchief Cassandra handed her. He was hesitant to take it because he knew it was important and had sentimental value to Cassandra. “No… I’m okay. I have a handkerchief here, Cass,” Lizzy said as her handkerchief came out of her pocket. Cassandra just nodded and turned her attention back to Clark's game. She was cheering for him, it was still standing as Clark's name was shouted. All the female students looked at him while frowning. They were wondering why Cassandra acted like that towards Clark. “She liked him, isn’t she?” someone asked while glaring at Cassandra. "I think so too." “Cassandra Dela Cruz. What an interesting woman,” someone said in a corner while staring at Cassy with a broad smile. When the game was over, Cassy and Misty hurried to head in Clark's direction to give him a drink. "Drink," they said together as they handed Clark an energy drink. Clark blinked his eyes a couple of times while looking at the two of them. He frowned and smiled afterwards. "I know you'd rather bring me, Clark," Misty said, and approached him. Cassandra grinned evilly and immediately approached Clark as well. “You’re wrong, Misty. Clark likes this better,” she said and smiled as she looked at Clark. Clark's teammates just stared at the two of them. They are also confused and confused about what they are doing. "Clark… You choose, they are waiting," said one of Clark's group. He sighed and smiled, "I'll take this." Cassandra won again. She winked at Misty before leaving her there, standing, unmoving. Her hands were already shaking as she held the energy drink she had actually bought for Clark. Misty angrily threw the energy drink on the court and angrily walked out of the court. “Woah, dude. It seems like Misty is angry because you chose Cassandra over her,” Jimuel said to her. Cassandra seems to have won the lottery because of what happened earlier. She was so happy as she walked down the hallway and she was amused as she remembered Misty's reaction while looking at her. “I still won, Misty. I know Clark likes me too. Maybe he’s not ready to admit it, but I will make sure he gets admitted after my confession.” Cassandra went back to their room and saw Misty was already there. She looked at her while rolling her eyes and giving her an evil grin before she sat down on her chair. “No one can mess with me. I am Cassandra Dela Cruz, the b***h, stubborn, and rich girl of section 1." To be continued...
