"Are you mr. and mrs. Hower?"
We looked at the guy in uniform in front of us.
"Yes, we are."
"President Raide is looking for you. I am the SSG vice president, Fritz Gallan. Follow me to the SSG office."
"Okay. Let's go."
I stood up and nodded. Astrid then hold my hand again while we are on our way to the SSG office. While on the way, I can hear other students talking about us.
"Who are they?"
"Transferees."
"What? Another pair of nuts who entered this hell."
"Sssh, lower your voice, they might hear you."
"What do you think will happen to them?"
"No doubt, they will become @qwewrtyefwvg too."
I creased my forehead when I didn't hear what she said in the last part.
'What are they talking about?'
"We are here."
The vice pressident knock three times before opening the door.
"President, here are the new comers."
I looked at the guy in front of us. His face is blank, cold eyes looking at us. His presence makes me feel more uncomfortable.
"Have a seat."
I gulp. Even his voice is so cold that it gives goosebumps to me. He is scariest than ma'am Constantine.
"Thank you president."
I am not saying anything. Astrid is only the one who have the guts to talk to them. I find them creepy.
I am just looking at the president. Our eyes met. It feels like his eyes are devouring me into a deep black hole. I avoided his gaze.
"I am the president of the supreme student government, Raide Lumia. Welcome to the our school. I am incharge of touring you around the campus."
"Thank you. Please take good care of us."
Astrid is so polite talking to him while I can't even look at him.
"You're siblings?"
I heard the president asked.
"No, we are married."
The president falls silent for a while.
"I see. Now that you are inside our school, you have to follow our rules here. Even if you are husband and wife."
I don't know but I can really feel like there is something wrong at everything here.
"I will tour you around now."
"The pleasure is ours president Raide."
This time, I tried to look at him only to see him smirking at me. I felt Astrid pulled me on his back.
"Let's go."
I just bowed my head the whole tour. I don't feel like listening to him while he is showing us around the campus.
"Last destination is the dormitory."
We stopped walking and saw two huge building facing each other.
"On the left side is the boys dormitory while the right side is for the girls dormitory. Here is your room keys. It has the room number written in there. Each room needs three persons. So you will have your roommates."
"Thank you for today president."
"It's alright. I have to go. Enjoy your stay and take care."
I flinched again when he said the words 'take care'. I can feel that he is staring at me while saying those.
"With all due respect president, I am uncomfortable with the stares and glances you are giving to my wife."
Astrid said frankly. I looked at him then to the president. He just smirked.
"Oh my bad. I am sorry. It's just that, this place is not normal for a couple like you. Well, I have to go. Better take good care of your wife mr. Astrid Hower or else you will face consequences. Have a good night."
The president walk away from us. My uneasiness worsen.
"Don't mind him, I am here."
"Thank you."
Astrid smiled at me.
"It's getting late. We have to go inside. Be careful okay? Call me when you need anything."
"I will, take care too."
He smiled then kiss my forehead before we decided to go inside.
