We spent another day in Vegas dahil mag-shopping daw kami. I don't have time for it but itong mga kumag kasi ang kukulit kaya napasama ako. Pinagtitinginann kami ng mga tao. Para kasing mga bata ang mga kasama ko.

Maybe some were wondering who we are lalo na at nakashorts lang kami lahat at naka slip on sandals. Parang nasa bahay lang. Wala pang mga pakialam. Tapos  iba iba pa ang lahi namin, what I mean is bawat isa sa amin kalahating pinoy, kalahating banyaga like ~ Filipino- Chinese, Korean- Filipino, Arab-Filipino, American- Filipino, Italian-Filipino, Bristish- Filipino.

Habang busy lahat kakatingin sa bawat shops at pumapasok pag may  nagustuhan. Ako naman napako sa isang lingerie shop. Naisip kong pasalubungan si Cassie. She loves lingerie. Hihiwalay nga muna ako sa kanila.

Nakita ko si Luca nakatingin din sa tinitingnan ko. " Hiwalay muna ako saglit." Paalam ko sa mga ito.

"Where are you going? Dapat samasama lang tayo," sabi ni Zeus. Parang bata lang, takot maiwan.

"There, baka ayaw niyong pumasok. I will buy some pasalubong." Naka nguso kong itinuro sa kanila.

Lahat sila napatingin sa akin ng may pagtataka. Natawa ako sa bawat expression ng mukha nila. Naiiling na lang si Luca.

"Seriously Dr. Allen Aaron Smith?" Liam asked.

"Yah, why? Bibili ako ng pasalubong may masama ba?"

"No, I mean it's a lingerie store!" he shouted.

"Exactly, My girl is addicted  to lingeries," sabi ko.

"Woooooh! Iba, iba talaga ang nagagawa ng pag ibig. Ang allergic sa shopping papasok sa isang lingerie store." Pumapalakpak pang sabi ni Kai.

"I will buy too. Tara sa loob." Inakay ako ni Luca. Hindi na niya hinayaan makapagsalita ang iba. Nagpaakay naman ako rito.

Nagsunuran naman ang mga kumag. Lahat kami ngayon nasa loob na ng lingerie store. Nagtingin tingin ako hanggang sa napako ang mata ko sa section ng mga lace fabric na lingeries.

"Hi sir, how may I help you?" It was the sales lady.

"Hi, I want several sets for this kind of fabric. Also if you have some lacey robes." I asked her.

Tumalima naman ito at kinuha mga orders ko. I bought several sets of lace fabric  lingeries. Nasa twenty sets ata. Including several robes and panties. Asan na kaya ang mga kumag.

I saw Luca paying at the Cashier. He bought several sets. Also Atreus. Napabili rin ang isang 'to. Ang nagulat kami si Kai. May kinuha rin ito.

"Ang dami ah, parang buong store ata plano mong bilhin," sabi ni Liam.

"Oy Kai, sino bibigyan mo niyan?" tanong ni Liam dito.

"May reregaluhan lang ako. Bawal ba? Ba't ako tinatanong mo? Mga yan oh ang daming binili. Si Allen kulang na lang buong store bilhin." defensive nitong sagot.

"Alam na niya?" pabulong na tanong ni Luca sa akin. Umiling ako dito.

"Hindi pa, pag uwi ko I plan to tell her. Hindi pa ako nirereplyan hanggang ngayon," sagot ko rito.

"Mag-bestfriend nga ang pagbibigyan natin. They are obsessed with this thin fabric, pupunitin din naman." Iiling iling nitong sabi.

Nakapila kaming apat. Si Aj natatawa sa amin. Kung sino pa ang may asawa siya pa ang nakatingin lang. Siguro kong si Bella ang pinakasalan nito nakapila na ito kanina pa and maybe wala rin kami rito. Baka nagsasaya pa kami after the reception at si Aj nasa honeymoon ito for sure.

Mga tao na napapatingin sa amin, napapatigil at nakasunod sa amin ng tingin. Shock halos lahat. Mga lalaki na naggwagwapuhan nakapilia sa cashier habang mga binili lahat lingerie. Sino ang hindi magtataka. This shop is intended for women. Pero hito kami pumasok.

Ako talaga ang pinaka maraming binili. Pati bath and body wash bumili ako for Cassie. Nakita ko kasi iba't ibang scents . But I chose the lavander scent. Ito kasi ang naamoy ko sa kaniya parati. And I lobe her scent.

Kahit madami akong dala magaan lang naman. Tinulungan nila akong magbuhat. Pumasok pa ako sa isang pambabae na shop. Reklamo sila ng reklamo pero panay naman ang sunod. Hindi ko alam pero nag i-enjoy akong bumili ng bumili ng mga pambabae na gamit. Kahit first time ko itong ginawa.

Pati si Luca and Atreus napapabili na rin. Tawang tawa naman ang tatlo. Pati kasi si Kai nakikigaya rin. Na curious tuloy ako. Alam ko kasi ang kay Luca si Dra. Riva at alam din ng mga kumag. Si Atreus naman para kay Mariel. Si Kai wala kaming idea. Waka kasi itong sinasabi. Alam namin ikakasal ito sa China. It's an arrange marriage. Nilapitan ko ito.

"Mmmh may binibilhan kana pala ngayon," simple kong sabi rito.

I heard him laugh a little." Yah, sort of. For my scholar daw yan ang tawag nila."

Tiningnan ko ito. Is he serious? Biglang nangunot ang noo ko." Don't tell me you're a sugar daddy now."

"That's what she told me, the same thing as you said." Tumatawa ito. May tinatago pala itong babae.

"Paano siya pag ikasal kana?" nakita ko na natigilan ito. Bumuntong hininga. Hindi namin nahalata. Magaling kasing  magtago ng emosyon ang isa na'to.

"I don't know A.A.. I don't know how to tell her. She's so stuborn. I know she will not listen. It's not my intension to fall for her. It just happened." Pumikit ito at humawak sa sentido. Parang sumakit ang ulo nito sa kakaisip.

"I know, thanks," sagot niya at tipid itong ngumiti.

We flew back to the Phillippines in the afternoon. I've been sending messages to  Cassie but I got no reply. She's really that mad huh.

Sumasakit tuloy ang ulo ko sa kakaisip kong ano ang aking gagawi para hindi na ito magalit.

The next day I returned for work. Five days akong wala kaya I have to check my patients. Maaga pa lang gising na ako at bihis na bihis na with my scrubs and white coat. I made my rounds and after kung masiguro na okay ang lahat. I went to my clinic. I saw Eliza.

"Good morning Doc! Welcome back,"nakangiti nitong bati.

"Morning Eli!" bati ko rin dito. I have few patients today kaso wala pa sa labas kaya I decides to visit my one patient in OB ward yon kasi ang huli ko na pinupuntahan.

The moment I went there I saw nurses gossiping about me. And to my surprise I saw Cassie checking the charts. Just like a deja vu, ang pagkakaiba lang ngayon may mga nurses. I smirked at her when I saw her looking up at me. I miss her terribly.

I saw Dr. Riva approached her and talk about her new unit. Kaya ba busy ito dahil lumipat pala ng unit. So mas malapit na siya sa hospital. Good! Mas pabor sa akin.

Paging Dr. Allen Smith to ER now...

Nagmamadali kong nilisan ang OB ward at malalaking hakbang kong tinungo ang Emergency Room.

"Good morning!" bati ko sa kanilang lahat at tinungo ang aking pakay.

"Doc, patient GCS is 3 on admission to ER. He has a history of stroke. Blood pressure is dropping. With normal heart rate but fluctuating. Diabetic and had some renal problem." Mabilis na sabi ng ER nurse sa akin.

Naging busy ako sa aking pasyente na hindi ko namalayan natapos na pala ang aking duty. The patient I had in ER was now in coma. I tried to verify first so a CT scan was made.

I laid on my bed and think of Cassie. Mas nakakastress kasi hindi ito nag-rereply.

I send him a message...

Me:

Baby... please rely...

I waited and waited. Napapikit ako ng aking mga mata. Biglang nag beep ang phone ko.

Hindi  ko mapigilan mapangiti ng makita ko ang nasa screen, it was Cassie's name. She replied.

I called her after nitong maligo. Even if I want us to become intimate tonight I can't. I'm tired and I know pagod din ito. Ayaw ko rin biglain. Kakabati pa lang namin.

Liam: Wala rin si Kai. Busy sa scholar niya.

Atreus: @Liam scholar? What you mean.

Liam: @Atreus ang hina mo bro.

Atreus: Ah yah! Gets ko na. He even bought a new condo unit in Pasay. Hindi ko alam sino ang titira.

Liam: Sino pa, ang scholar niya. Nakita mo na ba? Binahay talaga niya.

Luca: Wala atang may alam kong sino. He's protecting the girl. Pinapaman manan ata ng parents niya. Kai asked some help from me. He hired some of my men for that girl. Kilala ko at nakita niyo na pero hindi ko pwedeng sabihin.

Allen: Leave Kai alone assholes!

Let's see each other na lang mamaya. Sa house, kong gusto niyo.

Zeus: You're the best Doc!

Allen: Tsk!

Nagkita kita kami pagka hapon sa bahay ko sa Antipolo. Wala si Aj and Kai. Si Atreus naman humabol lang. Parang may problema ito. I informed Cassie about my whereabouts. Ayoko na magka problema na naman kami.

Dating gawi. Tawanan at walang katapusan na kwentuhan. At hindi mawawala ang mga banat at chismis ni Zeus.

"A.A musta na kayo ng kachat mo? Nag level up na ba?" 

"Yah, we will meet soon," tipid kong sagot dito.

"Grabeh hindi pa kayo nagkita? Mag iisang taon na ata kayo, right?" Ang kulit nito. Buti pa ito alam na alam. Tumango lang ako rito.

Hindi naman kami naabutan hanggang umaga. All of us have commitments for the next day.

Tomorrow came. I made my rounds in OB ward then I saw Cassie, a nurse is asking something from her. Kinukulit siya nito. Then I heard it's about the dating app. interesado ito. I noticed that she was hesitant to answer the nurse.

After my rounds I went back to my office  para tapusin  ang mga paper works. Suddenly I think about Cassie. Makipagkita na kaya ako rito. It's been so long. I don't like this set up already. Nakakapagod ng mag imagine. But I want her right now.

I plan to cook for Cassie. I know it will be a tiring day. Sa narinig ko na pagtawag sa kaniya it must be a crittical case.

I cooked a steak and prepared her clothes for today. I was even smiling  doing all those stuff. Para akong nababaliw. I was even thinking what will be her reaction after my revelation.

"Baby, you go back to sleep. I'll  leave okay? I have an operation. Just stay here until I come back. I'll order your food." bulong ko dito. Antok pa ito, hindi manlang ako nito tiningnan.

If only I can cuddle her until evening I will gladly do it. But I have tons of responsibilities at hand.  I have to work for now.
