Challenge for a flower fairy

He thanks God for giving him a friend like Vito.

Caelum thank God for sending Vito to him, yesternight.. an accident happened.

A branch of a tree was about to fall when Vito caught it, his friend saved him. If it doesn't come, it will hurt him.

"Alam mo, sobra sobrang salamat 'ko talaga sayo. Kung hindi ka dumating kagabi, baka namatay na ako!" Caelum said and Vito laughed.

"Edi sorry" binigyan ni Caelum si Vito ng isang pancake na linuto nito.

"Inggit ka lang eh"

Umalis na si Vito at naiwan muli mag isa si Caelum.

Hindi siya pumasok ngayon dahil gusto niya mag pahinga. At gusto niyang umalis sa bahay, puro lungkot lang ang nararamdaman niya dito.

Nag suot ito ng jeans at sweater. Nang makapag ayos ay lumabas na ito at umalis.

Pumunta ito sa plaza, doon ay linibang ang sarili.

"Kuya pwede po ba ikaw nalang partner 'ko?" tanong ng isang batang lakaki na mataba kay Caelum. "Partner? Saan?"

"Doon po sa seesaw" Caelum smiled. "Wala ka bang kalaro?"

"Wala po, yung mga kids po doon inaaya 'ko makipag play saakin pero they don't want. Ayaw po nila ako isali. Kaya po play po tayo.. okay lang po?"

 "Uhm, sige. Okay lang, let's go?"

The boy looks so excited

He played with that chubby boy in a seesaw, he found out that his mother left him for a while. "Anong pangalan mo?"

"Jasper po, ikaw po?" Caelum chuckled.

"Ako si Caelum, kuya Caelum. Twenty-two na ako. Ikaw? Ilang taon kana?" he asked. "Eight na po, sorry po eight palang ako pero malaki na po ako po ha?"

Caelum chukled. "It's okay, ang cute cute mo nga eh"

Caelum treat him a ice cream. "Thank you po, kayo rin po ang guwapo guwapo niyo! Hihi! Kuya crush po kita mwehehehe"

Kumunot ang noo ni Caelum pero tumawa. "You're so cute, pero you can only have a crush on a girl"

"Po? bakit po? bawal po ba?"

"It's not that it's bawal, pero we have partners in life. Ang babae ay para sa lakaki, ang lalaki ay para sa babae."

"Pero yung kuya 'ko po, May kiniss po siyang lalaki rin. Bad po ba 'yun?" tanong ni Jasper. "How old is your kuya?"

HE KEEPS STARING AT THE SUN

Drystan can't help but stare at the sun. He never likes the sun because it always bother him but now he's staring at it.

"You're not beautiful as the moon, but you gave light in every creatures life.." Drystan said...

The butterflies are wondering why there's no Drystan that scolding them for laying on his flowers. Dragonflies are wondering why there's no Drystan that's making fun of them. Other creatures in the forest are wondering why there's no Drystan that's making a loud noise in the forest.

The jungle is so silent without the silly flower fairy boy.

But the fairy is here, laying on the leaf. Staring at the sun that almost blind him.

"I love my life, I love myself. I don't want to die just because of my stupid promise that I break. I'm asking deities. I just want to live a great life, enjoying my life. Why do you have to give me a challenge? It's okay when it's a fight or anything but it isn't. It's a challenge of my mind, my decision. I'm a grown man now, but acting like a child. Dragonflies, Butterflies, flowers, and many insects came to him.

"Look at these small creatures. Can you help me to decide?" The insects lay on him. "What? find that boy? Are you all crazy?"

"I agree with them" Drystan looked at someone...

Aurora.

"You won't die, you won't kill.. so just find the boy and take the responsibility that you promise" Drystan shook his head.

"I don't want to"

"You have to"

He sighed and fly. "Aurora, I don't want... ugh, wala na bang ibang paraan?"

Umiling si Aurora.

To remove Drystan stress, He and Aurora explore the forest.

Play with the creatures there, Drystan being Drystan.. he's making fun with the creatures again.

He can't change anymore.

Meanwhile, Caelum just said goodbye to Jasper as his mom arrived.

He likes that kid, how he wishes they will meet again.

Afternoon, and he decided to go home. Palubog na ang araw, ayaw niyang gabihin sa daan.

While walking to the street, Caelum noticed that someone's following him. But he thinks, maybe that person is going to the same place as Caelum will.

But when he went to an empty street, no people.. he think he's right, now he's nervous.

Someone's following him.

Caelum tried to stay calm and act normally he doesn't want to look obvious that he's nervous.

He walks so fast now and the man on his back walks faster too to the point that Caelum already run but he can't escape.

He's in danger now. He's scared, and his other half can feel it.

Who's his other half?

"AHH!"

"DRYSTAN!!" Aurora catches Drystan when he loses balance as his heart hurts again. "Ah.."

"Drys, I-I don't know what to do! Insects help us!!! He's in pain again!" Aurora almost cry. "Sorry, Drys—"

"AGHHHHHH!!!"

"D-drystan! Halika babalik na tayo" They went back to their house and tandang Sisidlan was there.

"Nangyari nanaman?"

"Help him, tanda.."

"AKIN NA ANG LAHAT"

Caelum bit his lips. He can't protect himself because the man has a knife. "W-wala akong p-pera"

"Ilabas mo ang lahat, bata. Baka masaksak kita diyan"

"A-ah, huwag.. utang na loob" ibinigay nito ang bag niya sa lalaki. Tsaka naman tinignan ng lalaki ang loob.

Nagkaroon ng pag kakataon si Caelum na suntukin at sikmuraan ang lalaki at tumakbo.

Ngunit mabilis siyang sinundan ng lalaki. Mabilis itong tumakbo ngunit may dumaan na aso at napatid siya doon.

Naabutan siya ng magnanakaw na lalaki at itinutok ang kutsilyo sa kaniya. "Tatakas ka pa? gusto mo mamatay?!"

"AGHHH!!!" malakas na sigaw ni Drystan. "Tanda anong nangyayari?! Bakit namimilipit parin siya sa sakit?!" tanong ni Aurora.

"Nasa panganib parin ang lalaking pinangakuan niya, kaya nasasaktan parin siya.."

"GAANO KA KAHIRAP?"

"Ano?"

"Gaano ka kahirap para holdapan ako?" tanong ni Caelum. "Sobrang hirap ba para nakawan ako ng sapilitan? Pagbantaan ang buhay 'ko? Sabihing sasaktan mo ako?"

"Tumahimik ka, sasaksakin talaga kita"

"Walang wala rin ako. Walang pera, ang sinusuweldo 'ko ay maliit para buhayin ang sarili 'ko. Pero kahit maliit lang 'yun hindi ako nag isip na gumawa ng masama para magka pera at itaguyod ang sarili"

"Tumahimik ka, mag isa ka lang kaya sinasabi mo 'yan! Ako, may pamilya ako!"

"Alam ba nila 'to?" natatakot pang sabi ni Caelum dahil nasa leeg niya ang kutsilyo. "Alam ba nila na ang pangangailangan na nakukuha nila ay nagmula sa kasamaan?"

"Sabing tumahimik ka!"

"Hindi pag gawa ng masama ang magtataguyod ng pamilya mo. Hindi tayo parehas ng problema pero sana huwag kang mananakit dahil sa pangangailangan." doon ay nasugatan na ang leeg ni Caelum nang tanggalin ng holdaper ang kutsilyo.

"HOY ANO 'YAN!" May dalawang lumapit sa holdaper. "Sir anong nangyari?" tanong nito kay Caelum.

Tahimik lang si Caelum. "Holdaper siya.." 'yun lang ang nasabi niya.

Pinosasan ng pulis nag holdaper. "Sir, kailangan mo atang pumunta sa hospital. May sugat ka"

"Ayos lang ho ako.. a-ayos lang"

"Pero sir kailangan niyo magpagamot, Dela Cerna. Ikaw na bahala kay Sir, ako na ang mag dadala sa prisinto sa mokong na ito"

Bago umalis ang pulis at holdaper ay tinignan ni Caelum ang holdaper na naka tingin din sa kaniya. "Pasensya kana.."

"Ahhh.." hindi parin nawawala ang sakit sa puso ni Drystan. "Wala tayong magagawa diyan."

"Ano papanoorin lang natin masaktan si Drys?" tanong ni Aurora.

Nasa hospital na si Caelum at ginagamot na ang sugat niya sa leeg. Sa katunayan ay kaya niya naman gamutin ang sarili niya ngunit mapilit ang pulis.

Hinatid siya nito sa dorm, nalaman nilang mag isa si Caelum kaya wala silang matawagan para i-assist siya.

"Sa susunod po, mag iingat tayo. Magandang gabi po ulit, mr. Dissiri. Mauuna na po ako" Caelum nodded. "Thankyou.."

He closed the door, he's staring at the door for a minute.

At the same time, the pain in Drystan's heart disappeared. He can't take it anymore, it hurts like he's going to die.

Habang nasa higaan si Caelum ay nasa dahon si Drystan. Nag mo-move on sa sakit na naramdaman dahil kay Caelum na walang kaalam alam.

"Wala na bang ika-lulupit ang mundo?" Drystan and Caelum said at the same time.

Caelum is shaking from what happened. Same to Drystan.

They're suffering because of each other.

Caelum is suffering because the protector he has didn't come for him.

Drystan is suffering because the person he promised is in danger and he's not there to protect him.

Caelum suffers because of Drystan.

Drystan suffer because of Caelum

And this is a challenge for a fairy, the deities are challenging him if how long he will raise his pride. How long he will let himself suffer because he doesn't want to pick in that three options.

But this time, Drystan can't take it anymore. He can't let this happen anymore. He doesn't want to feel pain anymore.

And he's making decisions now.

We just wish that his decision are better now, and won't make them suffer anymore.
