Let's Meet Again

" Prince, how was it? Have you found the human?" Raphael asked Eugene

" Yes, I found her. She's inside her room at the eastern part of the castle third to the last room at the end of the hallway" Eugene replied

" Should we kill her this night?" Raphael asked

" Let's do it tonight, we must do it carefully even though I will hide our aura that Demon King is sharp. " Eugene explained

" Don't worry, we will do it carefully and swiftly besides we are only killing a human she can't make trouble for us" Raphael answered

They patiently wait until it gets dark where the demons are all asleep. As they saw a chance to sneak inside the castle they grabbed it and goes directly inside the room of Ghenica who is sleeping peacefully in her bed covered in a blanket. Raphael draws his sword and pierces through the blanket but he finds something's wrong.

Raphael uncovers and pull the blanket and only saw pillows.

" Where is..." Raphael said when the door slammed.

Leviathan together with the Demon King enters the room. Ghenica who is hiding in the closet shows herself.

" Pests," Demon King said to them

" How did you," Eugene said

" Do you think I am dumb? You can hide and control your aura and mana Prince but, not your companions. " Demon King replied

" Let's retreat" Eugene suggested to Raphael

" The human is in front of us. Let's kill her then escape" Raphael said

"( How loyal you are to my father) I will make way for you and others" Eugene answer

Eugene creates a gust of wind and attacks the Demon King Raphael and the other three soldiers grabbed the opportunity to attack. Raphael tries to s***h Ghenica but was blocked by Leviathan. The other soldiers are fighting the demons ferociously. Eugene summons lightning that strikes Demon King and hits him making the Demon King flew outside the door. Eugene will attack again but was blocked by the Demon King himself. Leviathan still fighting Raphael when the human soldiers were defeated. Eugene who is on his feet, defeated by the Demon King is now in danger. Raphael gets a crystal ball from his pocket he used the item but was cracked by Leviathan's sword that makes him disappear and flee.

" He fleece," Leviathan said

" Tsk, so his life was more important than mine," Eugene said as he stands on his feet

" That's a teleportation crystal. It's rare and only in numbers" Eugene added

" What should we do now?" Ghenica asked

" The good thing is that before the activation the crystal was damaged. Raphael is near, I can still feel his presence." Eugene said

" Kitten are you sure about this?" Demon King Cain asked

" Yes, I will look for him and help him," Ghenica replied

" Don't worry, I will cast a magical and powerful magic that will hide her identity and aura" Eugene said

" I will be fine, I will try to message you through Eugene," Ghenica said hugging the Demon King

The next morning Ghenica is ready to set off. Demon King, Leviathan, and Eugene see her off.

" You should be careful, avoid my father and brother" Eugene warns

" If things get a handful to go back here immediately," Demon King Cain said

" I know, I will make sure that I can gather information. Let's meet again" Ghenica said as she left the castle

" I know it's dangerous but the information you needed is impossible for me to gather because I am blind to my family," Eugene said to the Demon King

" She should come back to me no matter what" he replied

" Cough! Cough! ( s**t, that Demon f it's not because of him I am safely back to my king. Prince Eugene will be dead, I am sure he is dead by now.) " Raphael said as he sat down under a tree holding his bleeding abdomen.

Raphael tries to stand up and walk but heard a sound of someone, he draws his sword and saw a woman. He points his sword to the woman and said, " Who are you?"

" I am Nica, I am lost. I came from the east together with my brother to settle down at the Genesis Kingdom and find work there but, we are being chased down by scary men" Ghenica explained as she lied to Raphael

" .........."

" You are hurt, let me help you" she offered

Raphael accepts the help offered by Nica. After several days Raphael and Nica arrived and reached the Genesis Kingdom.

"My king, Sir Raphael arrived" a soldier reported to the king

King Noah together with his son Leon visits Raphael who is resting in his room.

" Ah!" Ghenica said when the door open

Raphael stands up and bows his head even he's injured.

" Greetings to my king and prince"

" Greetings," Ghenica said after she found out that she is facing the two people she must avoid

" Who is this?" Prince Leo asked

" The teleportation device got a problem and she's the one who helps me" Raphael replied

" I see " the Prince replied

" I, I will go out and come back later," Ghenica said and leave the three

" Did you kill her?" the king asked

" We failed, even Prince Eugene was defeated by the Demon King" he answered

" Impossible, Eugene is the most powerful mage in the whole kingdom," King Noah said not believing his son was defeated

" What should we do? The human is still alive" the prince asked

" Eugene is still alive," Morgiana said as she opened the door

" What?" the king asked

" But, I saw him weak and the Demon King is ready to swing his sword for his head" Raphael explained

" I can still feel him." Morgiana said

" It doesn't matter anymore, if he's alive he will come back for sure. The problem is the human, she is still alive" the King replied

" What should we do?" Raphael asked

" Let's postpone it for a while that demon will become wary." the King said scratching his forehead

" Raphael?" Ghenica called out and open the door

" I already asked the king to give you work here," Raphael said

" Really?! Thank you!" Ghenica said happily

She sat beside his bed and look at his wound,

" Let's clean your wounds"

" About your brother, I will try my best to look for him" he added

" You, the king and prince seems a nice person," Ghenica said

" The King gives people...us... a home where we can live freely. He fought those nasty demons and give us heroes that will protect us" Raphael said

" You hate demons" she replied

" Because they are beings that killed thousands to gain power."

" The king trusts you very much"

" Yes, my father is loyal to him so do I." Raphael proudly replied

On the other hand, Demon King Cain was restless and worried.

" I hope she's fine"

" She's fine" Eugene replied

" ........"

" You must trust her, after this I have to go back there. I will leave a messenger for communication"

" I understand"

" Morgiana knows I am still alive, when I go back there you don't have to worry anything. I will protect her" Eugene added

Ghenica stays at the palace as a maid, she befriended almost all the persons inside the palace. She even avoids the king and prince.

( As of now the information I have gather is still incomplete. I have to find the king's weakness and also the prince. They have strong fighters, great wizards,d a saintess that can see futures. In my two weeks of stay here, there's a room which is forbidden to anyone except the king. I have to find out what is inside that room)

Ghenica who is passing by saw the prince.

" Greetings Prince Leon"

" You are the girl Raphael brought along right? " He asked

" Yes,"

" He said you came from the east. Why are you here? The east kingdom of Feral is rich."

Ghenica who is nervous replied," because I heard your greatness, your highness"

" Hahahaha, I know I am great and many ladies have been praising me. So you are one of them" the boastful prince replied

" Yes, I am fond of your highness ( hahaha, so he's a narcissist. Poor Eugene having a brother like him)" Ghenica replied with her forceful smile

" Nice, how about you visit me in my room? You should do it... I will be delighted that a cute girl like you is visiting me"

" Ah, yes after I am done with work...Oh, look at the time I have to go now or the head maid will scold me" Ghenica replied

" See ya!"

Ghenica walk away as fast as she could

( Ah, this is ridiculous. Why did I meet that pervert? He's a pervert and a narcissist. He's trash) Ghenica thought while walking.

" You seems troubled" Raphael asked as he appeared out of nowhere

" Raphael! I am not troubled so don't worry" she replied

" If there's any problem you can't handle just say it to me," he said and pats Ghenica's head

" Thank you ( Raphael is a good person but, he's very loyal to the king) "

Raphael left Ghenica after chatting a little. Ghenica goes back to her work.

How are you? I am fine... I have gathered enough information except to the room banned to everybody. We can infiltrate them after Eugene goes back here but, I am curious about the room the king visits every night.

Ghenica said letter to Cain and Eugene after a month. One day the king was out for two whole days to visits the Kingdom of Feral. Ghenica grabbed the chance and went to the room the king often visits. She slowly opens the door and there she found a statue of a hooded figure with a crystal ball in its hand.

" What is this? " Ghenica mumbled to herself

Ghenica look around and saw a notebook of names. It's a list of names with surnames of Marigold, below there's a note stating that,

" I offer you, my Lord, the family line of Marigold in exchange for my power "

( Like a record book, ah there's more... There are names of different persons.)

Ghenica look and saw another note

( I kill my friend who accidentally knows about my Lord and is now questioning me )

" Friend? Fredericks? It's Sir Raphael's fa..." Ghenica mumbled but heard commotions outside. She carefully gets out of the room and looks at what the maids and soldiers did.

Ghenica saw Eugene

" Ah, he came back" she mumbled

Ghenica was one of the maids in charge of Eugene. She went there and clean the wounds

( Cain wounded him) Ghenica thought

The maids are busy when Prince Leon opens the door without knocking.

" You're still alive brother!" Prince Leon said

" Yes I am" Eugen replied

" Nica, you are here... Why you didn't visit me? I am lonely" the Prince said to Ghenica

" I am sorry Prince Leon but I have been busy" she replied

" It's fine, I will wait for you"

" Brother what do you think you are doing? You can't let maids inside your room" Eugene interrupted

" Hm? You never give a damn about these things in the past why are you doing this?" Prince Leon asked in a pissed off tone

" Simply because I can't torment it anymore. You presented with a good image to our citizens yet, you do things like this? If you want someone to have relationships with doing it with noble ladies" Eugene replied

Prince Leon walks out and slammed the door. The other maids were sent out by Eugene except for Ghenica.

" If your husband knew about this he will surely fly here and kill my brother," Eugene said

" I know that's why I never mention it," she replied

" How come my brother have this interest in you?"

" I met him and he asks me several things that d to this mess. He thought I idolized him" Ghenica replied in a pissed off face

" I can't comment because he's a bit narcissist"

Ghenica looked at him with a face saying what the hell.

" What?" Eugene asked

" A bit narcissist? He's a narcissist to the bones and annoying" Ghenica replied

" Let's not talk about my brother anymore, about the room you are saying..."

Ghenica gets serious and said, " He has this weird altar of a human figured statue that is holding a crystal ball"

" A crystal ball? A statue? I think I heard it somewhere"

" Another thing is a record book. I think your father is praising that statue and asked for things such as power and in exchange, he must sacrifice lives"

" Sacrifices?" Eugene asked

" Yes, the first sacrifice is the Marigold family. He asked for power in exchange for their lives"

" Marigold? I haven't heard about it"

" Let's put that aside, you have to go back to him. We have to execute our next plan," Eugene said
