Present Time...
Sarah
I was grinning from ear to ear when I saw who just came to visit me at the workplace today. My flight just landed about an hour ago and I can't remember when did I tell him about my arrival time.
My trip to Iceland was quite exhausting since it was a nonstop flight. As soon as we landed, we spent the time resting in the hotel and just waited for our last flight.
Now that I'm here back home, with my luggage on my hand, I strutted to where my man was standing. He was holding another bouquet of red roses and my smile just couldn't get any bigger.
This man screams perfection. How blessed I am to have another day to fall in love with him all over again.
As I neared him, I can feel my friends' nudges to my side and their muffled teases beside me.
"Sana all!" Zenaida whispered and I giggled at her.
"Nawa'y lahat!" Samantha seconded and sighed dreamily.
"Loka! Araw-araw mo kasama, nawa'y lahat ka dyan!" Zenaida protested rolling her eyes. "Lika na nga dito, hayaan na natin ang love birds." She said pulling Samantha away from me and Billy.
"Hey." Billy said simply, his eyes shining brightly at him.
This guy right here looks so happy. I wouldn't ever get tired seeing him like this everyday.
"Hey to you, too." I answered back with a smile. He handed me the roses and I automatically brought them to my nose. As always, flowers smell so good.
Billy got ahold of my luggage with his other hand holding mine. I could feel the envious stares of the women as we walked past them.
I could not blame them. Billy is a gorgeous human being. With a foreign blood in his dna, he got the looks of an American guy and the softer side of the Asian race because of his mom. He also has to-die-for tousled hair that automatically curls up on my fingers whenever I brush them playfully on my hands.
I was about to lead him to our favorite coffee shop here in the airport when he shook his head with a smile.
"I know, you are starving, Love. But we are not yet eating. We have to go somewhere first." Billy said and winked at me.
Feeling confused, I let him lead the way. Soon, I found ourselves out of the airport and into his car.
He opened the trunk and placed my luggage in there before joining me at the front seat. He planted a kiss on my lips before he stepped on the gas.
I instantly blushed and puffed my cheeks to refrain from being a lovestruck teen.
While we were on the road, he opened the radio and tuned in to our favorite station.
Everything felt so new
Yet, every time I'm with you,
Everything just feels so true
"Ang ganda naman ng kanta!" The male DJ said and again, his partner, agreed to it.
"Panira ka naman ng moment, besh! Nakikinig na nga oh!" Said his female partner on air.
"Ay, sorry! Sorry! Eto na nga! Play na natin!" He said and they both laughed.
And every time
I looked into your eyes,
I just knew right then and there,
All will melt even the coldest ice.
"Para sa babaeng laman ng puso ko..
Ang kantang eto ay para sa'yo.." the female DJ said on voice-over.
While we were on the road, I can feel the warm and cozy feeling of being with Billy. The familiar homey atmosphere automatically sets as I spend time with him.
Indeed,
I am whipped by you.

I am drawn to you.
Suddenly, I felt our car stopped in front of a beautiful restaurant garden just a couple of minutes away from the airport.
I have never seen it before because on my way home after a flight, I would always succumb to sleep in the taxi. I was too exhausted to notice the places around me after work.
Indeed,
I am whipped by you.
Truly,
I am drawn to you.
I was about to ask Billy about it when I gasped at the entrance of the restaurant. There, I saw familiar faces.
My friends who were just at the airport earlier before we separated ways, both my parents and his mom are here too.
What made me speechless was the banner set at the background. All the people here have letters spelled out to me.
The song from the radio station was also heard here inside since they are playing it too. I saw Rainier being busy with the camera and catching everyone and especially my reaction.
Hot fresh tears escaped from my eyes when I saw Billy knelt down in front of me with a red box in his hand.
He stared deep into my eyes and popped the words,
"I always look forward to seeing your smile every single day. I always crave seeing you frown and at the same time, hearing you laugh. I love you, Sarah May Houston. Will you marry me?"
