THE PUP MUST BE CAREFUL, I BITE TOO

1513 Words
After I cooked for dinner, I just jammed singing and strumming the guitar a bit because it really is the perfect cure for my anger and then dozed to sleep. And sleeping in a strange place is always the best for me. Because I knew no one would ever pressure me and expect something from me as I knew no one there. But not a strange house of some stranger. I don't like to sleep in someone else's house because I become uncomfortable so that I can't move and poop so well. You hear it right. I can't poop in someone else's comfort room. I turned and checked myself around the mirror, still settling if I whether to jog in these leggings or flexible jeans? I don't like leggings because, just because, if you're a Filipino, you'd know my reason. And I don't really like flexible jeans because it feels itchy if my legs start to sweat while I'm wearing one to go for a run. Finally, settle on comfy jeans which I strangely found on my baggage and paired them with a croptop hoodie. I nodded in contentment and took my phone and my airpod and then opened the gate and, of course, I needed to close it again. And then began the long run. Take note of the long run, because I don't have my final route. I'll just run and run and then return home if I'm tired. I opened my phone and clicked on Biliie Eilish's playlist. It is always the playlist I play when I do anything, even when I'm pooping and crying and doing work and sleeping. And it always begins with her song Bad Guy. And because, like I've said, I always choose to play it, I quite am familiar now with the next songs that are about to play right after each song. To ensure I wouldn't have a problem with my direction returning home, I made sure to turn left to every left road I saw and it took me to a park full of flowers. Lucky enough, I don't have a pollen allergy. That made me happy for a second and then walked around for a rest while breathing the air. I smiled as I listened to the music with my ear and then saw the trimmed pine trees lined near the road and the fountain meters away with my eyes. Too bad I forgot to bring my camera. This scenery needs to be captured. A mini market soon came to my sight with a coffee shop beside it and I quickly made my way to the mini market and bought lots of chocolates, dairy milk, kitkats, and snickers and then made my way to the coffee shop and bought a cafe' latte. I carried them all with me while I roamed my eyes and looked for a perfect place to eat it when my eyes landed on the policeman I saw at the convenience store the other day. He raised his hand and he was in his jogging outfit and I raised my hand as he made his way to me. "Wow, you really are alive", he said as he came to a stop next to me. "Do you think I'm a ghost thing or something?", he just chuckled though. "It's just I've never seen a woman enter a convenience store and witness a robbery and then get them all yourself. We were having a hard time figuring out how to believe the woman's statement when she said she threw a can at one of the robbers. Never seen a minor throw a can hard enough to make a guy sleep on the floor", he said in a very unbelieving tone, and here I am with a plain look but rather insulted inside. Minor? Hell dude I'm 19! "Oh, you mean the three pigs? Oh Yeah well I'm not a minor so, yeah", he looked surprised and chuckled while scratching his head. " So you're not a minor? I'm so sorry, it's just that you really look so young." "It's okay I get that a lot, but I kind of figured out it was never because of my face but because of my height", he just laughed with his other hand fixed on his hips. "Now the statement of that woman is made believable." "Yes, I exist and I'm currently on the hide as my name is on the death list of the robbers in London", he just smiled or laughed? "So they're stuck behind bars now?" "Oh yeah. They've been on the list as their names are on several robber cases everywhere and were really a catch. You gave us a decrease in workloads because of that", he said, laughing. "Well then I need to ask for a talent fee then", he just laughed. Awww, I was expecting he would bite my joke and give me real pounds. I noticed he was with a miniature schnauzer pup, so I kneeled and slowly reached out to it. "Careful, he bites." "The pup must be careful, I bite too", he laughed and I smiled as I touched his hair and ran my hands on it. I suddenly miss my maltese pomeranian dog, Yugi. I left him to Blake, my doctor, as Yugi is not the type of dog who likes travelling. "You live around here?" "More like 500 meters. I don't know I hate math", he just chuckled. "But you strike pretty well from a distance", he said while nodding. Probably he was talking about the can I threw on the pig. "I'm a pitcher then, not a mathematician", he chuckled again. "Where are you off to? Mind if I keep you company?", I stopped for a while. "So this is how they do it? The talking?", I said quietly, careful he didn't hear it. I stood and smiled a little. "Perhaps next time. I'm going to meet someone", he just nodded in disappointment. Does that mean rejection to them? "See'ya around then. Your name?", he said, reaching his hand. "Katie", I said, and accepted it. "Katie, see you around", he said and then ran away. Well, not run away but leave to jog again. I'm not going to meet anyone. I don't want someone to accompany me when I eat because I don't like it. LoL! I walked while my eyes roamed around and saw a lake with no one in sight and ate them all for 10 minutes. I listened to 2 Biliie Eilish songs while sitting as I waited for my stomach to grind everything a bit. Lips, meet teeth and tongue My heart skips eight beats at once If we were meant to be we would've been by now. See what you wanna see but all I see is him right now. I sang with the songs as I rubbed my tummy, slowly digesting everything. I stood after finishing the song and felt my tummy was lighter now, so I decided to leave. The run home was a lot quicker than I expected and I quickly opened the gate but was stopped by a call. You-have-a-call "Hello?" "This is Blake, looks like you forgot to plug my number on your contacts with all those reminders I did?" I rolled my eyes and then made my way into the house. "You called?" "Well, I'm glad you're still alive", I smiled and opened the fridge and took some water. "I'm feeling way too better by the vacation", I said, and then drank the water from the tumbler. "Of course you would. You always feel that way every time you spend days in a new place and I just ended up being informed you were in the hospital." "You called to say those?" "What do you think?" "Cut the crap I wanna take a shower", I said, and then took the towel and made sure to lock the front door. "I just called to remind you to take your medicine. You won't survive one night if you leave a schedule and have at least 8 hours of sleep and your maintenance". Yeah thank you for the help. It was a lot of help. "There's no damn way I'd forget that. You can't forget the only thing that makes you alive", I said in a sarcastic yet energetic and cool tone. "Yeah, I bet you are too", he said with some hanging words he was hesitating to say. Maybe because he wants me to be reminded, but not to be reminded at the same time. "Blake, say it now so I can hang the call and take a shower. I'm sweating", I said, pretending to be out of patience. ""Katie, don't do anything stupid", he said, clearly pronouncing each word and sharply. "Like what? Hanging myself. Blake, that's around a year ago or something. I'm not gonna spend all this money buying my medicine just to kill myself, okay?" "Anyway, I have to hang up now. I'm all sweating", I said, and then ended the call after saying thanks to him.
