Both Mistia and Javen are staring or should I say glaring each other intensely. There's a growing tension between them. The couches they're sitting in have a sufficient space and adequate distance just for them to get rid of each other but seems like there's no way they can get rid to the building tension and arising war between the two of them.

"Huwag mo nga akong titigan!" inis na sabi ni Javen nang hindi na matiis ang mga titig ni Mistia sa kanya.

"Ikaw ang huwag tumitig sa akin!" Mistia fought back.

Idinuro ni Javen si Mistia na may halong iritasyon at galit. "Ikaw na kabute ka, matagal na akong naiinis sayo!"

"Huwag mo akong iduro-duro kundi mukha mo na ang sasapakin ko! Nagmumukha ka lang isda!"

Napatayo si Javen at gano'n na rin si Mistia. They're both invitingly stood up; ready to fight when Gladys meddle them.

"Calm down, okay? I know you had a not so pleasant encounter with each other but... you can't solve this if you always put violence." Gladys spoke up with a compensating tone.

Javen's three friends were just looking at them like they are something entertaining. A rom-com movie, somehow.

"Gladys, lumayo-layo ka sa mga masasamang..." Tinapunan muna ni Javen si Mistia bago sabihin salitang, "elemento."

"Aba'y gago ka, ah! Hindi ka ba nadala sa pagtuhod ko sayo?"

Javen stiffed as if he realized something. "'Yan! Ang dami mong atraso sa akin! Ang tapang-tapang mo'ng chanak ka! Akala mo kung sinong malaki..."

Hindi na natiis ni Mistia ang pang-aasar ni Javen sa kanya kaya pumatong siya sa sofa at nilundagan si Javen dahilan ng pagkakatumba nilang dalawa sa sofa. Ngunit hindi pa rin nilubayan ni Mistia si Javen. Nagmistula siyang unggoy na nakakapit kay Javen.

"Hoy bitaw!" Pilit na kumakawala si Javen pero talagang matindi ang kapit sa kanya ni Mistia. "Aray!" he bellowed when the monkey Mistia bit his ears.

Fen, Gladys, Paul were just looking at them while secretly laughing. While Yashua, was taking a video and photos of them.

Javen successfully get rid of Mistia grip and it's his time to revenge. Hinila niya ang kaliwang paa ni Mistia kaya nahulog it sa sofa. Napadaing si Mistia parang nabali ang buto niya sa likod dahil tumama ito sa matigas na parte ng sofa.

Later on, she abruptly recovered. Kumapit naman siya sa kaliwang binti ni Javen na parang tarsier. Kaya, natumba ito.

Mistia didn't let him breath. Dinaganan niya agad ito at dinakma ang leeg.

Napatigil lang sila when they heard fake coughs and then realized how awkward their position was.

Tumayo silang dalawa at nagpagpag saka umupo pabalik.

IT' S ALREADY noon that's why they decided to eat lunch in Fen's house. Gladys and Mistia settled beside each other. But, the tension between the quarrelsome cat and rat didn't end even if they are already in the front of the food. Hindi nga sila magkatabi pero magkaharap naman. If looks could kill, matagal na silang patay dalawa.

"Jave and Miss... Would you two aside your anger towards each other? Kumain muna tayo nang matiwasay... Okay?" Paul requested when he noticed the heavy atmosphere and the tension starting to grow between Mistia and Javen.

"Mistia... Mistia ang pangalan ko hindi Miss at hindi rin kung ano." pagtatama ni Mistia kay Paul.

"What did you say? Unano?" pang-aasar pa ni Javen.

Mistia's teeth gritted. "Binging Hatchet Fish!"

"Hindi nga ako Hatchet Fish!"

"Bakit ka ba nagagalit? Wala naman kayong pinagkaiba ng hatchet fish, ah?"

"Halika nga rito! Titirisin kitang pandak ka!"

Napabuntong-hininga nalang ang mga kasama nila dahil sa walang katapusang away nilang dalawa.

Tumayo silang lahat except kina Mistia at Javen. They decided to go into the pool area and leave the two of them alone.

HAPON na at napagdesisyunan ni Mistia na magpaalam na dahil kailangan na niyang umuwi.

"Ipapahatid na kita Misti..." Gladys offered.

Nasa labas na sila ng bahay nina Gladys.

"Huwag na, kaya ko nang umuwi mag-isa."

Gladys reassured Mistia and later on, agreed.

Mistia was ready to step when she heard the door opened. Iniluwa nito si Javen na naka-crossed arms. Nasa likod nito ang tatlong kaibigan.

"Hoy Kabute, hindi pa tayo tapos. Pagsisisihan mong binangga mo ako." he seriously said.

"Akala mo natatakot ako sayo? Sige lang... Hindi kita aatrasan" matapang namang sagot ni Mistia.

ON THE NEXT day, Mistia went to school. While walking in the corridor, everyone was eyeing her. That seemed very suspicious, she thought.

Lingon siya nang lingon to know what's going on with the people. Nagbubulong-bulungan at tinatawanan siya.

Inirapan niya nalang ang mga ito.

Hindi niya naipagpatuloy ang paglalakad nang deritso siyang lumagapak sa sahig. Mistia groaned in pain. Everyone who saw her fall burst into laughters. Including those two men who put a rope on each side of the corridor to trip her.

"Ano ba'ng problema niyo, ha?!" galit ni sigaw ni Mistia at matapang na tumayo.

Tumakbo ang dalawang lalaki. She left no choice but to ran after them. Pinagtitinginan na sila ng mga estudyante pero wala siyang pakialam. Nakita niyang tumakbo patungo sa court ang lalaki kaya sinundan niya ito. But suddenly, she stopped when she saw her face flashed in the big screen with her name with it.

"Mistia ang chanak na kabute..."

Iyan ang nakasulat sa ibabang parte ng screen.

It was not a normal photo of her. It was being edited.

Her head was being cut out and placed on the top of the mushroom. Not just that, may picture pa na chanak at pinalit ang mukha niya do'n sa mukha ng tiyanak.

"Sinong may gawa nito?!" pasigaw na tanong niya.

Kumulo ang dugo niya nang makita si Javen na parang mamamatay sa kakatawa habang hawak ang tiyan. May dala pang palakpak ang tawa niya tila ba sobrang nakakatuwa ang ginawa niya.

She was indeed fuming mad!

She doesn't need an answer because it was obviously made by Javen. She knew it already.

Naglakad papalapit si Javen sa kanya. Tinulak niya pa ang inosenteng lalaking nakaharang sa daraanan niya.

Yeah. He's that bad. No manners, no care, no morals.

Javen stopped not too far from where Mistia was.

"Did you like my surprise, Miss Kabute?" he asked in a teasing voice.

"Tangina mo!" Mistia answered with a cuss.

"Hmm... Crispylicious!" Yashua inserted. But stopped later on when Mistia shot him daggers. Nag-peace sign pa siya.

"Bakit mo ginagawa 'to?" Mistia said in a serious tone. But deep inside, she already killed Javen.

Javen laughed sarcastically. "I told you, hindi pa tayo tapos. And I still remember what you said, hindi mo ako aatrasan diba?"

"Talagang hindi kita aatrasan!" By that, buong lakas na tumalon si Mistia kay Javen. Her legs were locked around his hips and her arms were encircled around Javen's neck. She was clinging onto him but not in a romantic way.

The poor Javen didn't expect that. He wasn't ready. That's why he was forceless to be steady. He couldn't manage Mistia's weight that cause them to fall. Thus, in just one glimpse, nakapatong na si Mistia sa kanya.

Ngunit... Hindi lang ang mga katawan nila ang magkapatong... kundi, pati na rin ang mga labi nila...

Natahimik ang lahat. The surrounding became silent, that the only sound that you can hear is the flashing of the cameras and gasping.

"Fuckingina..." Yashua muttered in disbelief.

His friends were shocked as well!

Samantalang ang dalawa, parehong dilat ang mata at nanigas.

Well, who wouldn't? That was truly a nerve-wrecking scenario.

And the most disturbing thing was that, bigla nalang tumunog ang kantang may lyrics na 'We are the champions of the world'.

Because of that, they both got back to their senses. Dali-dali silang napatayo at kapwa hawak ang kanilang mga labi.

Hindi alam ni Javen ang gagawin kaya napatakbo siya papalabas ng court.

"Pota ka Mistia, Anong ginawa mo?!" Mistia's subconscious scolded herself.

What a shameful day...

As of the moment, Mistia thought that she lost his dignity together with her first kiss.

That's not the exact scenario that she imagine she would lost her first kiss. That is beyond her imagination. And way too far from her expectation.

Mistia just sighed.

Losing her first kiss was kinda tragical...
