"I have to do something urgent about the business. I'll be back by the evening. Okay?" James asked for permission to leave.
But we just arrived.
"We supposed to meet Mama at the house," I said.
"I know but this is very urgent. We have to reschedule the meeting. We'll talk once I come back."
Asking my permission was not fully granted but he still leaves. He grabbed his jacket and closed the door of his condo. And I am left alone in this huge apartment.
Fine. I'll go alone, then.
