IT'S FUNNY how two days of absence can feel like a whole month. Dalawang araw lang akong nawala, pero parang isang linggo ang naipon na trabaho sa mesa ko. The amount of paperwork piled up on my desk was overwhelming.
Lolo had insisted that I take the entire week off to rest, but I knew I couldn’t. Hindi ko ata kayang magrelax ng one week. At wala naman akong malubhang sakit para ganon katagal ang pahinga. Though the doctor said I needed to rest, but I wasn’t the type to just lay around doing nothing. I just fainted. Nothing serious about that. Two days was enough for me to recharge. Hindi naman ako mahinang nilalang.
