Hindi sumunod si dad sa sinabi ni Doyle kaya ako na lang ang humarap sa kanya.
"Dad, I need you to trust me."
Umiling sa akin si dad kaya hinawakan ko ang dalawa niyang kamay.
"Dad, he knows what to do and I need you to trust me. He'll help us. Dad, please..."
Walang ganang sumunod sa amin si dad and Doyle guided me to come inside the car.
Nasa front seat ako at nasa backseat naman sila mom at tahimik sila nang paalis na kami sa subdivision. I saw dad's tears and mom is crying too while looking at our house when we're leaving.
Here's the thing, you can leave the house but the memories you have in the house can't leave you and I guess it's the reason why mom and dad are crying right now.
