THE BILLIONAIRE CONFESSION

CH.XIX

Hailey was ready to say the truth that

she kept running from all the way

since when she escaped Frank she

promised herself that she will never

run down the memory lane again

and about the days that she spent

with him but now she knew she had

to tell them everything in order to

keep him away from her.

"so Me and Frank met before he

joined the training. It was because

of me he joined and started training

with so that he could get close to dad.

we met each other the first time in

the coffee shop through our common

friend. Frank was not always bad he

was a sweet, friendly and amazing

guy or at least that's what I thought.

We met and it's like we immediately

liked each other. we went out to little

dates and he treated me with respect

and love. Then after sometime he

said that he was ready to settle

down with me and said he wanted

to get married. I was so happy. I told

him that he need convince dad and

you. So he joined the training and

then as you told that he was doing

everything in his power to convince

you and dad to allow us together. But

eventually one night or the night I

ran with him I heard dad and mom

arguing. He was saying that he will

send me away to Italy to grandpa's

place. I didn't want to leave him so

immediately called him and told him

everything that I heard. He told me

that we could run away for few days

and we will return once everything

us settled down. And I thought that

would be the best solution. We went

to his condo 20 miles away from our

place stayed a night and then flew

to Hong Kong where he had a friend. we

lived with him and Frank started to

work under him and after few days

I started working in a cafe around

the corner. For 3 months we lived

happily, he would go to work, come

back home and we would have

dinner and cuddle to sleep. It was

like my dream come true. Then one

day he cane home really angry and

told me to get the dinner ready while

gets freshen up. I thought he must

be angry and will calm down after a

while. we had our dinner and all the

while he didn't say a word, I asked

him about happened but he didn't

say anything. Then later after we

finished dinner I asked him again,

I thought maybe I could help him

in anyway I can but he didn't say

anything instead he told be to do my

work and it has nothing to do with

me. so I didn't force him in anyway.

I thought next day he will be fine

and things will get back to normal and

the way it was. But next again as

he came back home, he was still

angry. we went through the same

cycle again but the next day when I

asked about what happened he got

annoyed and backhanded me and

told me to go away. I was so shocked

to see this side of him." Hailey's

stopped for a moment took a deep

breath before continuing.

Timothy saw her as she kept telling

what she went through while living

with that f**k faced Frank. With

every word she said the anger in

him grew. He looked at Michael from

the corner of his eyes and saw him

gripping his glass in order to keep

himself at bay. A single tear slipped

on Hailey's cheek while she said that

he backhanded her.

It took everything in both the men's

power to keep themselves at bay

while hearing her saying things

happened to her. They were angry at

Frank to cause so much pain to such

innocent and beautiful soul.

"The next day he calmed down and

came to apologize me saying he was

not in his right mind and took all

his anger out on her. He took her on

date and stayed in all night taking

care of her. That moment I realised

that the Frank she loved is not him

anymore. He had gone and that

man with her was someone else,

someone she started fearing from.

After a week or two this happened

again he hit me when he got angry,

slowly he started calling me names.

I was in desperate need for help but

I know I couldn't call anyone so I

kept everything going just in hope

that one day he will change and he

will realize that it was wrong what

he did to me and he will apologize

and everything will be normal. But

it got more worse. He once tied me

to the bed and took off my cloths I

was so scared I had never seen him

like that. so when he went out to do

I don't know what, I untied myself

as fast as I could and I packed my

bag, I took money that I collected for

our wedding " She chuckled bitterly

"-and some cloths and I jumped

outside the window and ran as fast

as I could."

Where did you go?"

" At my friend's place, his name was

kafir Singh's, he was an Indian settled

in Hong Kong for work, He used to work

as a part time job in the cafe I told

him about why I ran away from my

boyfriend, he told me that he would

help me and hide me for few weeks

at his grandmother's who lives alone

in Punjab India. so I flew to Punjab

then lived there for 2 months. His

family was so loving they even

helped me complete my bachelor's

So that wherever I go i can live a

independent life. kafir used to call

me everyday making sure I was fine

and safe. I could never forget him

and the life his family provided me.

Then I flew to New York for 3 months

back I started to the cafe in front

of his office, it would help me pay

off my rents and I was stable so

then I applied at Smith's Corp. and he

referred me to Timothy and that's how

I started working here and the rest

you know." Hailey said and looked at

them

All that was going on in Michael's head

is to torture Frank to death if that

would not be enough. Michael was so

engrossed in his anger that he didn't

realised that Hailey had stopped

speaking and was looking at them

for their reaction.

" Princess, did he take advantage of you?"

"No, I ran away before it happened,

" How many time did he hit you ?"

This time it was Timothy.

"I don't know, I guess I loss count

after 50."

This made Michael so angry that thin

glass in his hand broke into pieces

because of his grip. He felt a little

thug in his heart to see tears in his

little sister's eyes. The girl he adored

since he was a child he was not there

with her when he needed her the

most. His heart broke into million

pieces when he heard what she went

through."

"Geez, here let me help you. are you

alright ?" Hailey asked bringing the

first aid box from the corner of the

room that she spotted while walking

down the stairs.

"I am fine you must be hungry, let's

order something ?" Michael asked.

" Yess, pizza ?" she asked with her big

doe like eyes.

" Pizza it is." Timothy said smiling at his

angel.

before he walked off to order he

looked at Michael and saw him equally

angry as himself. They both gave a

nod, understanding that they will

sit together and talk about this later

while Hailey is not around.
