Chapter 2 The start

I send her a message again, this is Cute Valdez, ang pinakamaganda mong kaibigan!

I don't know you, and you are pretty? Are you joking? Her reply.

Hiding beside a huge wall Vivien utters, "Coolen stills not here, I now so worried to her. Baka napagalitan na iyon ng Mommy mo." And sighed.

I still focus to my phone while typing, Stop pretending Coolen! If I will see you later all of your teeth will gone with the use of a nail cutter! Pagbibiro ko pa sa kaniya.

Vivien catches my attention as she shouted, "Coolen is coming!" I wanted to burst with anger. Ang sarap upakan. I fell like I am a volcano full of magma that wants to go out.

"Coolen! Ano naman ang pinagsasabi mo sa mga mensaheng oinadala mo sa akin?" I shouted and waved my phone while waiting her.

She comes towards us and I can see to her face the doubt and confusion. I let her saw our conversations on my phone. "Girl, hindi ito galing sa akin. At hindi ako ito." Her franked.

Suddenly my emotions went to mixed-up and say, "I messaged your number." At bigla akong napahinahon.

And now she is angry instead of me, "Look at it!" Then she gave her phone to me. "Look at the number last two numbers. It is sixty not sixteen." At tinitigan ko ulit yung cellphone numner at tama siya.

Nagkamali ako.

With a knocked on my head Vivien insisted, "Its's your fault. You should clean your ears daily." At ngayon pinagalitan na ako ng dalawa.

They left me as they walked away, "Sixty and sixteen are" Pagdadahilan ko sana pero,

Coolen raises her down thumb gesture. "Looser! Don't make some excuses." Then they laughed so hard.

As soon as we reached the jeepney stop and manage to take a seat I received a new message.

Coolen reads it by peeking on my side, "Dinosaur Era? You are beautiful on that era?" I immediately put my phone inside my bag while she laughs so hard and whisper to Vivien.

I really need to know who is my new enemy for now. And I won't let anyone to degrade my entire being like this.

This is awful and such a disgrace of telling me that I am beautiful on dinosaur's era?

Pagkapasok ko sa bahay, dali-dali komg nilapag sa mesa ang litrato ni James Ruther at tumakbo papasok sa aking silid.

Habang nakahiga ako sa aking kama ay napapaisip ako sa nang yayari sa akin. This day is so tiring physically, mentally and emotionally.

I did not noticed that I took a nap. Then a strong knocked from the door wakes me.

"Anak! The dinner is ready!" It is mom.

I sighed

Agad akong tumayo at oumunta sa malaiit na mesa at sinagot si Mom, "I'll be there after twenty minutes! I need just finish my scripts here!"

I rechecked all the scripts that I need later. This is a difficult one but I love doing this. "This is your DJ Blossom na nagsasabing kapag hindi ka mahal. Tangapin mo na lang." Sabay tawa ko.

"Hali ka na!" Sigaw ni Mom mula sa labas ng aking kwarto.

Pagkalabas ko na man siyang papuri ni Mom sa akin. "I am so glad to have a beautiful daughter like you." Sounds weird. It seems that there is something wrong.

Humahalakhak ako ng kay lakas "I know this mom, I am not new to this." Dagdag ko pa.

Pagkaupo ko sa hapagkainan ay siyang oagsasalita ni Mom, "Grabe ka naman anak kunting hiling lang eh." And I snapped my fingers. See...

Pagkatapos naming magdasal para sa pagkain ay tinuloy namin ang paguusap "Ano po yun ma?" seryosong tanong ko sa kanya.

I can see to her that she is not comfortable to talk with, "Anak kasi, " Pautal niya pang sabi. Parang hindi sa mapakali ayon sa nakikita ko.

Nagsimula na akong kumain ng hapuan at hinayaan si Mom na makapag-isip.

"Mom, you wanted me to die? For G sake!" Napatayo ako sa aking kinauupuan.

"Mamatay? Cute anak, what are you talking about?" Napakamot Mom sa kanya ulo.

"Mamatay dahil kay Leo!" parang nawalan ako ng ganang kumain. This is so wrong! I suddenly imagined Leo dating with me.

Ah! Nakakainis! And I murmured.

Napatayo rin si mama sabay sigaw "Saan ka pupunta?"

"Sa skul po!" at umalis na ako sa hapagkainan.

Kinuha ko agad ang aking gamit at lumakad papaalis ng bahay.

Hinabol pa ako ni Mom at nahawakan niya ang kaliwang kamay ko "Wait for a moment." Here we are again! Leo! Leo! Leo!

"Mom! ano ba!"

She smiled at me and said, "Anak magsipilyo ka muna nakalimutan mo kasi eh!"

Bang!

Bumalik ka agad ako sa bahay mabuti na lang at hindi pa ako nakakalayo.

At napatawa rin ako sa sinabi niya, "Thanks Mom!" kinuha ko na ang sipilyo at dalidaling nilinis ang aking mga ngipin.

Hinawi ni Mom ang aking buhok. "Anak, you need to be here at ten in the evening ok?" sigaw ni Mom habang nasa palikuran ako.

I nodded and say, "Sure Mom."

It takes few minutes to travel going to our school. At kung iisipin dalawang kilometro lang ang layo mula sa bahay.

Inisip kong malakad na lang muna kasi ang aga pa naman. It will be excatly six pm when I reached the school.

Habang ako'y naglalakad ay biglang tumunog ang aking cellphone.

Inaasar talaga ako ng pekeng James Ruther na ito.

Eksakto naman ang pagdating ko sa paaralan. And that moment hindi na ako tumingin sa aking cellphone. Dali-dali akong tumungo sa DJ's room at naghanda.

Tumango siya at nagsabing, "Oo, walang nakakaalam kung sino-sino ang mga DJs dito sa school." Sabay ngiti ng maamo niyang mukha.

Nag-aalala kasi ako. Mahirap na kung may makakaalam sa amin. I am DJ here in school for two years and no one knows about me, Coolen and Vivien as their DJs.

I just try the microphone by uttering."We will be on-air in just a few moments."

Nakangiti si Ma'am napumalakpak, "Good!" Bukambibig niya pa.
