Unexpectedly, Engaged.

Chapter VI: I really should.

EUNSOO'S POV

It was already Monday. I woke up early then prepared myself for school. When I went outside my room, I immediately saw Jaeyeol eating his breakfast. Tsk, that guy who got angry because of a small reason.

He saw me, but he just glanced at me, coldly. I think He is still angry about what I did last Saturday. He is not talking to me until now. For 3 straight days, he has not been acknowledging my presence. Aish! Really? Is that even a bigdeal?

Like I care. 

"Young master and young mistress, it is time to leave." Ok-Ahjussi told us.

"Okay.” I answered.

He just left his food and went to the car. I followed him and thought that he would sit at the back, because he usually sits beside me and then teases me while he calls me Jagiya. But then, he sat at the passenger's seat, he sat beside our chauffeur.

This the first time he did not sit beside me so, he really is mad at me. Ugh, why would he be mad at me for such a small reason? Grrr.

We arrived at the school, well again, from the beginning of the class up to the end of our 3rd subject, he still avoided. Aish! He is really getting on my nerves!

Seriously Jaeyeol?! What have I done against you?!

"CRRIIIIIIINNGGGGG!!!"

The bell Rang.

LUNCH TIME!

I saw Jaeyeol stood up then looked at me for a moment. Our eyes met but I just gave him a bored look to show him that I really do not care if he is mad at me. Dah, as if I care about him. I really hate him, that is all. He responded with a cold gaze and then went outside when he saw the members of Alpha walking around.

I was following the sight of Jaeyeol when suddenly I saw Zeus staring at me. His eyes were talking as if they were telling me that I really need to explain everything to him so, I decided to follow him.

I was about to go out when suddenly someone grabbed my arm and pulled me outside.

"Yah, dongsaeng*(Younger Friend/Sibling), we have to talk." Seohyun-unnie approached me.

"Wait unnie, Zeus is waiting for me---"

"Our conversation is more important than him right now." she added.

I could not let go from Seohyun-unnie’s grip, so I just returned my glance at him, informing him that I would explain everything to him after this.

By the way, what does she want to talk about?

We arrived at the school garden. The most peaceful place in the campus.  We decided to sit near a tree and started our conversation.

"Yah, what happened between the two of you?" Unnie was glaring at me.

"Huh? Us Who?" I tried playing innocent in front of her, though I am not sure if it would work.

"Stop acting like you do not know what I am trying to say Eunsoo-ya. What happened between the two of you? Usually, Jaeyeol would come to you during break time then he would call you Jagiya in front of us, but a while ago, He avoided you. What happened?"

“Unnie, I saw Jaeyeol-oppa avoiding you.” Jihee added.

Have I done a crime to be interrogated like this? Ugh.

"Ah, ahm, Unnie, honestly.."

I explained to her, everything that happened last Saturday. The reason why Jaeyeol was acting like that and the reason why he became mad at me. I told them our conversation that night.

"Unnie! That is so mean, he is still your fiancé." Jihee blurted out after she had heard my explanation.

"Yah, I didn't do anything wrong. We do not have any commitment and we are not even in a relationship." I answered them annoyingly. Like why are they siding with Jaeyeol? They are my friends, they supposed to understand my situation.

"Yah, dongsaeng, try putting his shoes on. Telling him that he is not your friend and suddenly bringing up that "NO COMMITMENT thing" in that argument. That is so rude." Seohyun-unnie countered. "Anyone can be hurt if the person they are concerned with acts as if they do not care about their concern. Remember, he is still a human being with feelings and emotions."

We are not even closed, and I am not considering him as my friend because for me he is just a guy to whom I bumped in my life then suddenly became my fiancé out of nowhere. I do not even know that he is considering me as his friend because I am not talking to him in our house. Although he tends to approach me , I would just nod at him to pretend that I am listening, but I am not really interested to what he was saying or even with him.

"Unnie, I am just curious, why are you so annoyed with Jaeyeol-oppa?" Jihee suddenly queried.

Honestly, I do not know why. I just hate him. I think because there is a love story that I want to write with another man, and not with Jayeol.

"I know even though you act as if nothing happened between you and Zeus, deep inside your heart you are still waiting for him. But you should also acknowledge that Jaeyeol is not just another guy, but he is your fiancé, and whether you like it or not, he might be your husband, in the near future.” Unnie told me.

“It was not his fault to be unexpectedly, engaged with you. You are both victims of this sudden engagement. You should not give all the blame to Jaeyeol, just because he is the man. He is also innocent about this. He does not deserve to be treated like this, what if he does what you do against him? Well, he is already avoiding you, right?"

My eyes widened up when I heard her words of advice. I gazed down at the floor. She has a point. I still feelings for Zeus that is why I am being too cold with Jaeyeol. Maybe because I blame him that the love story, I have been longing for was disrupted because of his sudden appearance in my life.

"I think you should apologize to him.” She convinced me with a smile. “He really deserves your apology after all."

"That is correct Unnie, Jaeyeol-oppa is just concerned about you." Jihee added.

"I will try my best to apologize.” My short response.

They are correct, I really should apologize to him because of my insensitivity towards him. Hays, I would just tell him to stop worrying about me. It is not his Job after all.

I do not want to burden anyone, and of course, I do not want to be attached to anyone, especially with Jaeyeol who unpredictably entered my life.

Now, I am guilty about this. Ugh, I should apologize to him, later tonight.

I really should.
