The word happy couldn’t even describe the happiness I felt tonight. I saw her eyes shining with joy and the curve on her lips showing her brightest teeth the whole time we’re celebrating her birthday. Those smiles are and will always be vivid in my memory.
Of course, I’ve witnessed how happy she is when we’re always doing her things she listed in her small notebook but this time, her smile and happiness was different.
I looked at my phone and looked at her photo on her eighteenth birthday. She was alone here but she still managed to smile for the sake of the camera.
