Cassandra forgot about the shoes as the days passed. It was a rainy afternoon when she told Herdon they need to buy stocks again, foods. Like they need to go on a grocery.
"I need you to stay very close to me, you understand?" Herdon said before they leave the house.
Cassandra chuckled, "Two police officers are guarding us here day and night. And now, other police officers will follow us wherever we go. I don't think so you need to look after me, hon. Let's just act like normal couples, please?" she said looking at his eyes like a helpless wife.
Herdon started the engine and so with the car who will follow them.
"I'm not to annoy you or disagree, but I admit that I like what Inspector Clay did. Giving us security is a relief for me," Herdon commented while driving.
Cassandra sighed, she knew Herdon was right. She just can't admit it to herself given the fact that Inspector Clay was the one who's looking after them. She just hated the Inspector for accusing her husband.
"Once this is over, I want us to take a vacation. With your parents," Herdon's eyes are full of hopes.
She held Herdon's hand into her lap, "I love that idea. And I want to do that as soon as possible. Because I can't take another moment to lose you in my sight," she said in a sweet voice.
"Just don't forget that we are still in danger," Herdon's face suddenly turns to a serious look.

"How long will this be over..." Inspector Clay whispered to himself while looking at the board where everything about Facundo's case was.
Yuno drinks his coffee, just like he always does every morning.
"Will you take a sit here with me? Have your coffee before anything else?" Yuno called Inspector Clay's attention.
"Yes, I already figured that out. So don't finish your coffee yet. I'll be back with mine," Inspector Clay quickly said then left Yuno there.
"Okay..." Yuno still answered even if Inspector Clay was already outside.
Inspector Clay was out for five minutes.
"I wish I did drink my coffee. Because it's cold now," Yuno said right after Inspector Clay entered the room, "what the hell took you so long?" he swayed his right hand on the air.
"What? Are you serious? It's just five minutes and for me, it's a fast service from the coffee shop outside," Inspector Clay stated.
"If you say so, then come at here. I'll drink this coffee for you. For your effort to get here fast, at least," Yuno emphasized the part where he said the word fast, and Inspector Clay just ignored it.
"I want this to be over..." Inspector Clay mumbled.
"We all, especially Mrs. Cassandra Facundo. She's the one who's really in trouble here. I mean, her husband is one of our—your, I mean, your suspect. And I can't imagine how troubled she was," Yuno said after finishing his coffee.
"No, she's not the only one..." Inspector Clay finished his coffee too.
"Yeah, I know. There's the husband too," Yuno pointed out.
"There's still another one," the Inspector added.
Yuno looked at him like he knew what he's talking about.
"Me," he ended Yuno's guess.
"And what about me?" Yuno asked.
"You doesn't seem troubled at all, Yuno. Stop it, I know you," he jokingly smiled.
"Okay, don't start with me today. Where were we now?" Yuno stood up.
"I checked the CCTV at my house last night. And this is what bothers me," he opened his laptop, inserted a USB, and showed it to Yuno.
They both watched the CCTV outside the grocery where Herdon was found. October two at two in the morning, A black van stopped then someone kicked Herdon out of the van. Then the van left. The video went black then when it came back, Herdon was already leaning on the wall of the grocery store. What made Inspector Clay suspicious is that Herdon's hands were tied when someone kicked him out of the van. Then the next thing they saw was, Herdon's hands were not already tied when he was already leaning on the wall.
"Who untied him?" Yuno looked surprised.
"The same question," he answered.
"Have you talked to the grocery's owner? About their CCTV? Why it went black then went back after ten seconds?" Yuno questioned one after another.
"I already, Yuno. And all he can tell me is that it's only a malfunction. He said that it happens most of the time," he answered.
"And you believe it?" Yuno gave him a serious look.
"At first no," he frankly said.
"And?" Yuno was being impatient.
"He's telling the truth. He showed me more videos from theirs, and some of them look like this too. Every two AM too," He answered, then exhaled.
"Did you checked or asked why every two AM? Since when this is happening to their CCTV and why the hell didn't they replace it?" Yuno raises questions about it.
"The owner said it's not a must since it's a view from outside, not inside their grocery. Maybe we can deal with that that later. Because we need to focus on the main item. After ten seconds, he was able to untie himself and made it in the corner? In just ten seconds, Yuno?" He suspiciously asked.
"And he fell asleep, right?" Yuno.
"Yes."
"If you fear for your life or someone else's, like for example, they might kill you, why not run and go to the police immediately? Why did she stay there?" Did he figure it out?
"Maybe they wanted us to find him there?" Yuno answered.
"For what?" he sighed.
"Maybe we should go there and find out why. I have a feeling that we'll find something there," Yuno already stepped outside and Inspector Clay.
"If we find something that might put Mr. Herdon Facundo about all of it, then it's over. And I'd be very grateful," he yawned while approaching Yuno in the hallway.
"You did not sleep again, Inspector," Yuno asked while covering his mouth, trying to stop himself from laughing.
"You can laugh. But if I didn't laugh too, you owe me a thing," He said.
