I couldn’t answer his question the moment he asked me about it. I bit my bottom lip, looking around the room except his eyes because of how overwhelming his stares are. However, he grabbed my jaw and gently moved my head to make me look at him.
“Melanie, I am asking you. I am not going to force you anymore if it’s against your will.”
I swallowed the lump in my throat. A moment ago, I was too confident to place my hands all over him. But now that I have come to the point of thinking about my own action earlier, I realize how embarrassing it is. I closed my eyes, breathing slightly so he wouldn’t notice that my breath was taken away because of how close we are to each other.
