I was preparing lunch habang nagkukwento ang anak ko sa naging bakasyon niya. Tanghali na itong nagising dahil na rin madaling araw na itong nakatulog ulit kanina. Nagbihis na rin ako habang mahimbing itong natutulog because I had to leave.
"We rode a helicopterm with tatam! It was cool, Mamim! I saw the ocean, the mountains and everything!"
Napangiti ako habang hinahalo ang niluluto ko. I guess he was pertaining to Kiandre.
"Dadam has a big big big place where there are lots of trees and rice and corn and many many many more!"
Napatawa ako nang mahina. He was amazed.
"So... do you have any idea how they call that place?"
"Hmm... haciendam!"
I chuckled. "Did you like the place?"
"Yes! There's a lot of people and kids there!"
