HOSEA and I went back to Pigalle after staying in the café for a few hours. When we arrived at Mon Amour I was surprised to see that my parents didn’t open the bar and restaurant. Instead, they prepared a dinner party in celebration of our engagement.
All the people working for Mon Amour are present. My parents even invited my co-workers in the boutique. Jean was even there and he was sincere when he congratulated us for being engaged. I was glad to see that Hosea was no longer uncomfortable with my friendship with Jean.
It was a happy night. My heart was full and I felt like I was floating. I didn’t even notice the passing of the time. I only realized that it was twelve midnight when people began to say goodbye to me and Hosea. I thanked everyone and w
