ERICA's POV

I am still angered with the thought of my bestfriend saying those words to me. He's been like a perfect friend to me and I can't believe he said those. I'm not like him he should know that!

"You alright?" It's Jaz. We're now heading to nowhere after having a lunch date. Yas! Lunch date :)

"Yeah.. I'm fine" I smiled and he also did. He's amazing and different from the guy I met that night. Oh, and he called me ugly then. Tsk. But yes I was back then and I happen to have stolen one stem of rose in his backyard. So maybe I deserve that.

"Where are we going?" I asked when I saw him turned his car near the city center.

"It's 6pm and I have something to attend to. Mind if you join me for a bit?"

Sure... he's gorgeous why wouldn't I.

"Yeah" I said smiling.

He parked his car Infront of a - a bar?

"Come with me" he opened the car door and I was hesitant. It's just 6pm and we're going inside a bar?

"Don't worry. We're not gonna drink."

He might have noticed my reaction. I stepped out and tried to relax. I can't ruin my first date.

"Hi Sir. Jaz! Want a drink?"

Alok agad ng bar tender pagpasok namin. It's just 6pm in the afternoon but people are now drinking like there's no tomorrow. Some are dancing already and some are making out all over the place. Sh*t things my friend really wanted in his life. And why are we even here? Oh, I forgot. They're friends. They might really have a lot in common. And clubbing is one h3ll they all wanted.

"No. It's fine." Nabigla ako ng tumanggi si Jaz. "Is Ana already here?"

Who's Ana?

"Nasa taas na po sir." Sagot ng bar tender.

"Erica, I just have to attend into a meeting. You want to come up stairs?"

He asked me holding my right hand and pulled me closer to him.

My gosh! I can't breathe!

"No.. it's fine. I'll wait for you in here"

Stupid me.

"Okay then. It won't take long I promise. Take a sit." He gestured me to one of the chairs in front of the bar tender and ordered a drink for me.

"Juice for the pretty lady please" he called the man in front as he held my waist to help me sit on the chair.

I mentally fell. OMG! Pretty na ako ngayun sa kanya.

"Thank you" Adjusting from how close we are right now. I'm shaking! He's arms are strong and his chest are awesome plus his broad shoulders.

"I'll go ahead. No alcohol baby" He said as he touched my lips with his finger and me absorbing his scent.

I sat steadily seeing him climb-up the stairs of the bar with my jaw dropped open.

It's been 15 minutes since Jaz left me in here. I felt a little bit bored at the moment. Seeing how these people are wasting their lives is stupid. I mean, it's not that I don't understand them but I grew-up not doing these things so I'm sorry but these isn't normal for me. Why are people even building this kind of business?

"Anything more you want ma'am?"

I stopped examining my surrounding when the bar tender asked me.

"Aamm... another glass of mango juice please" I just finished my glass so why not.

"Anything for the lady of my boss"

Boss? As in Boss?

"What do you mean Boss?" I asked out of nowhere.

"I mean Jaz. He owns this place"

And I was literally gulping now. What did I just said with this kind of business? Should I take it back now? Am I gonna be a girl to a man who owns club and bar?

Oh... shut it! He's not even into me I guest. And he did not even mentioned to me if we're having a date or what. Shut your stupid assuming brain Erica. Look how fancy this bar is. He might be really rich. Why didn't he told me?

I scrawled when I heard a girl on a near table laughed. They are now kissing! My gosh! What's with these people.

"Hey.." I jumped when someone whispered into my ear.

"You're enjoying the view I guess"

It's Jaz. Oh my gosh! Did he just saw me spying on those couples?

"N-Nah.. you got it wrong"

I swear it's embarrassing.

"Haha! It's fine. Don't tell me it's your first time seeing people make out" He sat on the chair beside me.

"Nope. But it's irritating. I mean, can't they get a room?"

He just laughed at me and was grinning.

"What?" But he's just staring at me.

"I know now why you're different." He leaned closer to me and I got tensed. Will he kiss me now?

"Making out is normal babe." He's so close that I can now smell his breath. He's God damn scent! "Don't tell me you haven't done making out before"

Huwwwat? Yes I haven't! He's eyes were locked in my lips and seems like he's about to crash them.

"What are you doing" my stupid mouth stated before he even did. And I don't know why!

He distanced himself and laughed. "You haven't kissed anyone are you?"

OMG! This is embarrassing and yes! I haven't. I wanna run!

"I did of course!" But I lied. I managed. It's fine though. I'm still not ready anyway. And I'm not yet sure of who's deserving to get my first kiss.

"I don't think so."

I got my face burning though I didn't drink any alcohol.

"You're turning red. Did you drink?"

He's grinning again.

"Shut it!" I snaped.

"What? Come on, it's normal. People kiss just normal this days. You should let loose sometimes."

He's no different.

"I know" I said after drinking all of what's left on the glass served in front. Little did I realized, it wasn't mine and it taste so bad.. arrg.. I just drank an alcohol for the first time. Jaz too was shocked.

"I said no alcohol. Anson's gonna kill me" he said laughing.

"Don't say his name. He's an ass"

What dis I just said? Am I drunk now?

"Shall we leave now?" I asked him as I might do something more embarrassing.

"Are you okay?" He asked me ask he parked the car on the bus station. It's already 8pm and the street is now busy.

"You sure you don't want me to take you home? Are you gonna be fine?"

Sweet na sana, but still an ass like my friend.

"I'm fine. I also need to see my cousin. Her place is near the city." I have to go see Liza. Papsi texted me to say hello to her. Though we're not that close since we've only met once when she celebrated her grand debut.

"Okay then let me take you there"

Ang kulet.

"No really it's fine" pagtanggi ko.

"Hey Erika, you look tipsy and you might pass out any moment since you're not some kind of a party goer. So you should listen to me unless you want to be snatched by any guy around with those revealing dress of yours."

OMG. He's right. Katunayan, kanina pa ako nakakaramdam ng hilo. Pero bat ganun? Parang wala naman akong pakialam. Ganun ba pag nalasing?

"No" I said firmly.

"Hey.." he held my hands. He's beginning to be sweet again. " if I told you something not right, I'm sorry. I will never say it again. Okay?"

He's an angel. But he's right. Kissing is normal. Why can't he kiss me now so I would know how it feels.

"Thank you Jaz, and I'm really fine." He put his hands in the air like he surrendered with my stubbornness.

"Take care okay? I'll call you tomorrow"

I thanked him and waved goodnight. It's been a great day though. He left and there was no kiss at all. After his gestures and him being so close to me, still no kiss..

I turned around and went to the lobby of the building where my cousin is staying. I asked the receptionist but to my dismay, she told me that no one's answering the phone on her unit and that she might have went out. I decided to just send her a message that I'll just go meet her tomorrow. I rode a taxi and went to Anson's condo. I can't go home in this state. Papsi might notice my smell of alcohol plus I'm still shaking from all of Jaz's touches and scent that I didn't even get to feel.

What am I even expecting?

I decided to have the taxi drop me at the basement as I don't feel like having people at the lobby see me at this dress. I'm not in the mood of seeing too much people right now. Am I drunk really?

I paid the cab and tried to walk normal towards the elevator. And while waiting, I got a view of two people making out in front of a car. In front? Really? Not even thinking of the CCTV huh? Why not get inside the car at least? Sa lahat nalang ba ng sulok? Really am I the only person here not doing it?

"Ans.."

I abruptly jolted as I heard it. And facing them, there he goes. My bestfriend is now making out again with some random girl. Really? Why so dumb Erica? How did you even liked this kind of person?

"Go home now babe. Let's just see each other again tomorrow" I can here him said that to her.

"Can't I come inside your condo?"

Landeh! No way!

"No sweety, baka nasa taas yung kaybigan ko"

Kaybigan! Kaybigan mo mukha mo!

"Okay then. Come inside my car"

Huwat???? Anong sinasabi ng babaeng to? Is that how they get guys? Am I supposed to do that too para ako naman ang makita nya?

Wait. What? Ano bang sinasabi ko. I'm not like them.

"Liza, let's take it slow. I don't wanna ruin our first meeting."

And by that, I just realized. That girl is no other than Liza, my cousin.

I dropped. Dropped dead!

My cousin is now having a hot conversation with the guy I like and with her hands touching his glorious chest! Those are mine!!'

Huh? Lasing ba ako? Anong iniisip ko?

The elevator opened and I stepped inside. I cant take it anymore. I might crash any moment.

I pressed the floor of his unit as one tear fell from my ayes. All guys are the same. And they're right. I'm such a looser. I can't even proudly say I know how to kiss. I felt so much embarrassed that I am not that attractive like others. I hate myself for that!

The door was about to close when a hand stopped it.

"Erica"

I wiped my tears as he might notice it.

"What happened?" He cupped my face with his hands.

"Nothing" I replied. He's an ass for asking that.

"You're drunk" OA? Drunk agad?

"No I'm not. Just a zip" I said still avoiding his gaze.

"That s**t guy I'm gonna break his leg if he did something to you"

He was so mad he's grinding his teeth.

"Can you just stop. Nothing happened." I removed his hands and went out as we reached the floor.

"Then why are you crying if nothing happened?" I swear he's gonna get a slap if he wont stop by now. I just went inside not answering. My head is aching now and I don't want to talk.

"Erika, talk the s**t out or I'll go out now and kill him"

He's gone mad. And crazy.

"Could you please shut up!" I felt my blood running up through my veins. He was shocked with my reaction.

"Erica" he whispered.

I felt sorry for shouting so I just turned around without facing him.

"I'm sorry I was just worried something might have happened."

He proceeded.

I turned and saw all of the marks of lipstick in his shirt. He's too much. I felt tears running again from my face. I hate it.

"Erica" he went before me and hugged me. "Stop crying baby. I'm sorry".

He gently wiped my tears and sat me down the couch with him beside me.

"What happened. Please tell me"

You're such a jerk!

"What?"

Oh.. I said it out loud.

"Jerk? Me?"

I wiped my tears and stopped crying. There's no way I'm gonna drink again. This is embarrassing.

"C'mon, erica tell me what happened"

Bakit ba ang kulit nya?

"Nothing happened okay? Wala.. walang nangyare. I didn't get a kiss like that!" I pointed on the lipsticks on his neck which he immediately removed but couldn't.

"I didn't get to have a make out just like what you just did in my cousin's car"

He gulped. He's eyes are full of guilt.

"Hey, we just.. you know.. but nothing happened really. Sinundo ko lang sya sa airport then dropped her off at your house." He explained.

"Then why are you with her?" I punch him in the chest as we're now facing each other.

"I asked for her number then when I called her she went to my place."

Oh.. so she's one of her girls now.

"Really? When did you even think of getting someone's number? Is that really you?" I was laughing sarcastically. I swear this alcohol thing is keeping me alive!

"Well, I just thought of the things you've been telling me. I think it's gonna be a good start?"

"What start? Of something real? With my cousin? Really? Of all people Ans?"

He just stared at me and didn't say a thing.

"You think she's different? Did you see how she was about to eating your wholeness? Haha! The womanizer Anson wants to start a thing. Not bad."

I tried standing but I eventually fell and he grabbed my waist to put me back at the sofa. "Erica stay still. You're drunk. Why did you even took a zip. Jaz's will have a lot of explaining to me. I'm gonna kick his ass!"

"Jaz is no different to you. He also see those things normal but you know what's painful? He can't even do it to me." His eyes widen.

"He can't even do it to me because I can't even kiss. I'm such a looser. I'm just so ordinary and I can't even get a guy to like me just as how you are adoring your girls!"

I was breathing heavily after I said that and him just staring at me while still analyzing what I said.

"Erica what are you talking about? You're amazing you're not a looser."

He tried reaching for my hands but I refused and face palm myself.

"I'm so ugly. I'm not sexy, I'm just smart. I don't wanna be smart anymore when I can't even kiss"

He tried removing my hands on my face and leaned closer to me.

"Hey drunk lady. Who said that to you? No one's gonna ever tell you that. Believe me, you're beautiful and sexy and gorgeous."

I closed my eyes as I was gently feeling his breath near me.

"Kiss me then" I uttered.
