“DAMN! Your adrvertisement proposal doesn’t suit the interest of our clients! Ano ba—ulitin niyo yan! I need a new one after an hour or better pack up your things!”
“Y-Yes sir..” Sabi nga mga empleyado.
After he went back from their hacienda ay walang araw na ‘di siya naninigaw. Binubunton nito ang galit sa mga empleyado dahil sa nangyari sa hacienda nila.
“Damn it!” He forcely closed the door and when he turned around he noticed her secretary unbuttoning her blouse saka humarap sa kanya.
“And what the f**k are you doing, Miss Lim!?” Mas dumilim lalo ang mukha ni Blaire sa kung anong binabalak ng secretary niya.
“Pouring cold water to you, sir..” Sabi nito as she exposed her cleavage fully now and seductively sat down on his table. Nakatayo si Blaire sa harapan niya at ‘di makapaniwalang gan’to si Miss Lim!
Yes, I’m a hell womanizer but when it comes to work, I’m not like a s*x-starve-maniac-boss!
Blaire grabbed her arm and pulled her off away from his table at kinaladkad palabas ng opisina nito. Ang mga empleyado sa labas ay nabigla sa hitsura ni Miss Lim.
“You’re fired! You all listen to me, I don’t need prostitutes in my company!” Blaire agigatedly bursted out his anger sa napahiyang secretary saka malakas na isinara ang pinto.
He sat down on his swivel chair at napahilot sa sariling sintido. Simula ng lumisan siyang galit na galit sa Hacienda nila because of that little witch—he just couldn’t calm himself even until now!
You little witch—you still have debt to pay! He’s not yet finished with that Ysla woman, he just need to settle things in his company and when all are done—humanda ito sa kanya!
Flashback:
“Seemed that the woman who can defy you is finally landed on Earth!” He remembered Derrek said after he told the incident with Ysla.
He smirked and drank another shot of hard wine.
“Nobody can defy me, dear cousin—trust me! I’ll make her bow down like she supposed to do!” Matigas na sabi ni Blaire.
“Ingat lang, pare. Remember, she’s an Apyaw woman—marami silang mag-aaklas sa Dam project kung ganun.” Ani ng pinsan nito.
Derrek just called him earlier na wala naman pag-aaklas na nangyari. He was constantly supervising the site. She wasn’t found also in her village kaya Derrek assumed that she’s still in the town. Hidinng herself like a pestered rat!
Hmm.. Why not? One of my benefits is to be my scholar and a chance to take whatever courses they want to sa University namin. Blaire thought and a smirked plastered on his face.
She couldn’t move against us dahil sa scholarship! The scholarship that I granted.. You little witch—you’re revolving around my palm and you hardly noticed it!
End of the flashback..
“YSLA! Nabasa mo na ba ang bulletin board!? Girl.. Highly nominated ka to be the Campus Queen!”
Napatili si Charlotte sa sarili nitong balita. Nasa canteen sila ni Danny kasama ang bago nilang kaibigan—ang may-ari ng Univeristy, si Sanny.
“Ha!? Sino ang nag-nominate sa’kin—!?”
“I highly nominated you Ysla—I’m sorry, I was supposed to tell you now pero naunahan na naman ako ni Charlotte.. You deserved to be one, right guys!?”
Sanny affirmed that she automatically nominated Ysla to be one of the Candidates. She has powers to do so, indeed, no need votes to nominate Ysla who she thought would be a paragon for everyone—well, another resemblance of Blaire’s character for being stubborn but not too much!
“P-Pero, Sanny—wala akong pera para diyan. Naglalabada na nga ako every weekend di ‘ ba para may allowance lang..” As much as Ysla wanted to join the coronation, wala siyang pera at matatalo lang ang isang katulad niya.
“Ysla, I will help you raise money—actually, kami nina Danny and Charlotte, tutulongan ka namin, di ba guys?” Panghihimok pa din nit okay Ysla.
“HA!? Ah, eh.. O-Oo naman, go for the gold tayo diyan, Ysla!” Sabi din ni Charlotte na napakamot sa batok. Na-pagtanto nitong may punto si Ysla dahil kayod-kalabaw ang peg nila ngayon.
“Salamat nalang, San—“ Tanggi pa rin ni Ysla sa kaibigan.
“Look, Ysla—alam mo bang ang proceeds nito ay para sa mga katutubong Apyaw? Para sa inyo..” Nakangiting ipinaalam ni Sanny kung sino ang makikinabang sa perang malilikom ng lahat ng kandidata. Ito mismo ang nag-suggest sa Board of Directors.
“T-Totoo?” Ysla was amazed hearing out kung saan tutungo ang pera. Sina Danny at Charlotte ay ganun din.
“Yes..40% of the money raised will be yours and 60% will be given to Apyaw tribe—sa inyo!”
Masayang pagbabalita ni Sanny habang pumalakpak pa. She’s indeed a young kind-hearted woman. May malaking puso siya sa mga nangangailangan ng tulong.
“..depende sa na raised na fund and project, Ysla.. The bigger the money the better—for me, gusto kong magpatayo ng Daycare Center at Health facility sa inyo.. So, what can you guys say?”
Nakamata at matamang nakinig ang tatlo sa sinabi ng bago nilang kaibigan. Ang mga plano ni Sanny ay siyang kinakailangan sa kanilang kumunidad ngayon. Napakagandang opurtunidad nga kung gayun—para sa mga kababayan niya lalo na sa mga batang Apyaw.
“S-sige.. Sasali na ako..” Tanging saad ni Ysla habang napatiling napayakap naman si Sanny rito.
Para sa inyo ‘to… Hindi na tayo mahihirapan kung may sakit ang isa sa atin at hindi na mauulanan at maaarawan ang mga batang Apyaw na gustong mag-aral at matuto.
Kay tagal din nilang ni-request sa munisipyo ang magkaroon sila ng Daycare center dahil sa lilim lang punong-kahoy ang tanging classroom ng mga katutubong bata sa kanila.
She was the former teacher at dahil nga sa pumarito sila sa lunggsod ay wala mo ng nagtuturo sa mga batang katutubo.
Sa kaibuturan ng puso niya ay nagpapasalamat siya na may mga katulad ni Sanny what really like to extend their hands para makatulong—ibang-iba ito sa ugali ng kuya niya!
