“It sucks to be someone’s shadow, you know? I always do the dirty work for him.”

He released a heavy breath. Nakaramdam ako ng awa sa kaniya kasi halata ang pagod sa kaniyang mata. Natutuwa ako kasi kumportable siyang mag-open up sa akin. I feel special when he tells me his problems and rants.

He grabbed the goblet and downed it in one gulp. I watched him silently drinking his champagne. My hands move to the surface of his hand. I gave him a warm smile so I could feel that he was not alone in his battle.

“You will be okay. You are the brave and wise man I knew. I always believe in you, Nik,” I cooed.

“Thank you, Sianna,” he whispered. He shut his eyes as he massaged his nose bridge out of frustration. “I always feel safe whenever I’m with you. When I’m with you… I don’t need to pretend or be a robot to follow someone’s command. The real me is showing whenever I’m with you, mon amour.”

“I’m glad that you feel the same way as I do. I am different when I’m with you also.”

He gave me a small smile until the waiter put our food on our table. I heard him ask for another champagne to refill his goblet. I am so jealous that he is eating meat right now while I’m eating caesar salad.

“How does it taste?” he inquired.

“Good,” I answered. I bit the olive on the fork and shot a glance at him. “I am still craving to eat the steak though.”

He squinted his eyes. “Are you not confident right now?”

My lips let out a gasp because of his remark. My cheeks burned in embarrassment. Should I even tell him that I feel ugly with my thick thighs? Well, I know that Nik really likes sexy women like Vivian.

“Of course I am,” I lied.

“You’re lying, mon amour,” he concluded. “Let me tell you this, okay? You are beautiful in your own way. I don’t give a damn if you become thick or skinny because I love you the way you are. Please… Tu es beau.”

My lips protruded. “I wanna be beautiful in your eyes…”

I got insecure when Baby teased me that Nik might find another sexy woman. That is why I am eager to have a strict diet and exercising in a gym with my cousin. Nik grabbed the table napkin and he wiped the edge of his lips.

“You are always beautiful…” He was chewing his lower lips as his intense dark eyes gazed at me. I felt the heat rush in my cheeks spread like a wildfire. “I don’t want you to forget that. My girlfriend is beautiful.”

“Thanks…” My eyes dropped on my plate. I was kind of shy because I just admitted that I was so insecure. Damn it.

“So…” he trailed off. He sliced the steak into a small portion and he offered it near my lips. My eyes grew bigger when he gave me a smirk. “I want you to taste the steak, it is so delicious. Say ah.”

Nakaramdam ako ng hiya kaya kinagat ko na iyong steak. I fought the urge not to release a moan because that piece of steak is bomb! He gave me a shrug as if he won the battle. He knew that I would love his steak. To my shock… he cut the steak in half and gave it to me. He placed half of his steak on my plate.

“I wanna try your salad. Let’s share our food with each other,” he chuckled. He scooped the salad out of my plate and placed it in his place. “I hope it tastes good.”

“Just try it. It tastes good…” I urged.

I saw in my peripheral vision that people were watching us as if we were weird sharing our food in a high class fine dining restaurant. Some of them even gossip about but Nik doesn’t seem to care about them though.

I’m so happy that we are dating again countless times. After we ate our dinner, we intertwined our fingers with each other while walking to the parking lot. I was laughing because he was telling me the most embarrassing event happened to Johann.

“He was called to the disciplinary office because the professor saw him making out with a girl in a corridor. Lolo was so embarrassed to go to the school for him.”

I let out a nosy laugh. “I can imagine your grandfather's reaction…”

“It was so priceless. My auntie didn’t know what to do for his son to be honest.”

I was startled when the thunder roared in the sky. We both look in the sky at the same time while holding our hands. I feel peace when it rains with him. The thunder rumbled until the droplets of rain began pouring on us.

“Do you want us to dance… again?” he suggested.

I giggled. “Why not? It always rains whenever we are together. Is it a coincidence?”

“Maybe…” his voice was so deep and husky. He shot his eyes in my direction. “One thing I know is fate.”

Tumingin pa ako sa langit at sobrang tingkad ng buwan habang natatabunan ng ulap. Medyo lumalakas na ang ulan at iba sa mga kumain sa fine dining ay naka payong. Kami lang iyong nakatayo malapit sa Mclaren niya na nagpapaulan.

He pulled my elbow to his chiseled chest. His navy blue polo is now wet because of the heavy rain. I think he wants us to dance in the moonlight while it's raining. I started to encircle my arms around his neck and I let his hands stay on my waist.

I swallowed hard. “We don’t have any music, Nik.”

“I’ll hum for you…” he whispered.

True to his words that he was humming his favorite music while we were slowly swaying in the rain. We may look like a fool to anybody but we are happy in our own bubble world. I shut my eyes as I wished that we stay like this for eternity.

There is no way I let him leave me. No f*****g way.

We danced in the moonlight while I rested my forehead on his chest trying to hear his heartbeat. I knew his heart was pumping because I was so close to him. I felt his lips left a feathery kiss on my head.

“I wanna make love with you, mon amour. Is it okay?” he asked, hoarsely.

“Y-Yes…” I replied. My eyes lifted up until our eyes met. “But where?”

“In my penthouse.”

“Do you bring your girls to your penthouse?”

His hawk eyes watching me in an intense way. “I never had s*x in my condo and I only let Gwen sleep in the guestroom.”

Phew! I thought he had s*x with different women in his penthouse. I gave him a nod and he pulled my hand to walk near his Mclaren. He opened the door for me because it is so complicated to open the door. I slid inside and I fumbled with the seatbelt because I was so nervous.

My heart is pounding rapidly beneath my chest. I never had an experience to have s*x with someone. I guess being nervous is normal since I’m a virgin. I straightened my back when he came inside his car and inserted his keys.

“I wanna be clear with you that I don’t want to force you to have s*x with me. Gusto ko na okay lang sa’yo…” he said, in a serious tone. “I want you to make love with me wholeheartedly and willingly.”

“I’m willing,” I insisted.

“Then it is settled. Is it your first time?”

I avert my gaze while I’m playing with my fingers. Nahihiya ako sa sarili ko na wala akong experience para mapasaya ko si Nik. I want him to be satisfied with my performance and of course I don’t want to look stupid!

“Is it your first time?” he reiterated.

I slowly nodded my head while my cheeks were burning. He is now driving calmly and his eyes focus on the road. Hindi naman siya nagmamadali siguro ayaw niya ipakita na ayun lang naman ang habol niya sa akin.

I shivered in the cold because we got wet due to heavy rain. Napansin niya siguro na giniginaw ako kaya nang magstop light ay may kinuha siya na bad sa passenger seat at nilabas iyong towel. He gave it to me and even gave me a kiss on my temple before he stepped on the gas when the stop light turned green.

He is so romantic. f**k.

We arrived at the Central Park Tower and the valet went to us so Nik could give him his car keys. Nauna bumaba si Nik kaya binigay niya iyon sa valet at pinagbuksan ako ng pintuan. Nandito pala iyong Penthouse niya. This is the most expensive condo in the Philippines.

He wrapped his toned arms around my waist while we were walking inside the Central Park Tower. The guard and receptionist greeted him in a formal way. Naglakad kami patungo sa isang elevator at pinindot niya iyong button para bumukas.

“This is the private elevator that leads to my penthouse.” he informed me.

I was so lost in so much words because he screams money. Hanggang ngayon hindi pa rin nags-sink in sa akin na ka-date ko ang isang Montepalma. Pumasok na kami sa elevator at medyo nahihilo ako kasi ganito palagi ako kapag sumasakay ng elevator.

After six minutes, we arrived at his expensive penthouse. When the elevator dinged, my eyes grew bigger when I saw his huge modern penthouse. The walls of his penthouse are painted with black and white. There is a huge chandelier in the living room in front of the glass— from which you can view the skyscraper.

He smirked. “Welcome to my abode. Feel at home please.”

“This is so huge…” I commented.

“I have five guest rooms and one master bedroom which is my room. If you wanna sleep here with me… we will stay in the master bedroom.”

“Can I shower?”

Of course I am drenched with water because we dance in the middle of a rain. He gave me a nod and ushered me to follow him. I was just following him until we reached his master bedroom, he opened the door for me.

“You can use my bathroom to take a hot shower,” his voice is so husky.

I bit my lower lip. “T-Thanks.”

Akmang tatalikod siya pero humarap ulit siya sa akin parang may gusto siyang sabihin. My lips clamped togehter while waiting for him to speak.

“I want you to be confident. You are f*****g beautiful.”

He winked at me before he turned his back on me. My cheeks heated so I decided to close the door. I headed to his bathroom to take a shower. I was so amazed at how huge and beautiful his room is. Even his bathroom is so huge with a shower room, sink and bathtub.

Hinubad ko na iyong damit ko at pumasok na ako sa shower room. Ang sarap sa pakiramdam nung mainit na tubig na lumalagasgas sa katawan ko. I used his shower gel because I wanna smell him kahit panglalaki iyon.

Kapagkuwan ay sinuot ko iyong roba na naka hanger para lumabas ako sa bathroom. When I got out of his bathroom, he was not wearing any clothes on his upper area but he was still wearing a black slacks.

My heartbeat was echoing through my ears and I clutched my chest in surprise. He was drinking a bourbon in his hand and his ripped body was right in front of my eyes. He showed his sexy smirk as he watched me from head to toe.

“You smell good,” he commented.

My shoulder seemed tense because it is so wide, like in an awkward position. Napalunok ako ng ilang beses kaya naglakad na ako palapit sa kaniya. He brushed his disheveled hair using his fingers because it was blocking his eyes.

Hindi ko alam ang gagawin ko kasi sobrang pungay nang titig niya sa akin. Medyo nanginginig iyong kamay ko kaya tumayo siya habang ang mata ko ay nasa katawan niya. Gosh! He has eight pack abs!

He licked his lips. “Relax… I won’t bite unless you tell me to.”

“This is my first time,” I admitted.

“Then let’s make it memorable…” His lips stretch to form a smile. Gumaan ang dibdib ko kasi kinakabahan talaga ako. Naramdaman ko na tinanggal niya iyong tali ng robe. “I wanna see you naked…”

I swallowed the lump on my throat. Dahan-dahan niya tinanggal iyong robe sa katawan ko at hinayaan niya mahulog iyon sa paanan ko. I can’t look straight into his eyes because his stern eyes drifted on my breasts.

Umangat muli iyong tingin niya kaya sinapo niya iyong kamay sa pisnge ko. I saw him clenching his jaw while his thumb playfully grazed my lips.

“Kiss me,” I breathed.
