“What’s your plans for today?” East asked me when Sunday morning came.
Umiling ako. “I want to stay here and do nothing. Maybe pick some flowers outside and do a make-up vlog?” hindi ko siguradong sagot.
We’re eating breakfast together…as usual.
“Hindi ka pupunta sa parents mo?” tanong niya.
“They’re at my aunt’s house. I don’t want to go to the mall or meet my friend either. I just want to stay here,” sagot ko. Gusto ko lang talaga magpahinga kasi alam ko sa susunod na mga linggo ay marami na naman akong gagawin na mga projects at baka kulang na naman ang tulog ko.
“Okay. Ihahatid sana kita kung may pupuntahan ka. I’ll be back in the afternoon to cook you lunch,” aniya.
“You don’t have to go back just to cook for me. I can order—”
“Your friend’s resto is close every Sunday, hon,”
