Time Stop 2

"Curious, eh?" She looked up at the person standing in front of her and smiled. It is Raffy, her close friend. She immediately closed the magazine she is holding. "Of course not!" She strongly denied it. "I saw the race and he struggled to reach the finish line, dunno why it was not there in the news." She didn't say anything and just opened the notebook. He, like Mason, is fascinated by automobiles. Raffy became a huge fan of Mason, a Filipino rookie racer, the moment he heard about him. When Raffy invited her to witness the race, she declined right away. Because she is still not ready to meet him or see him in person at this time. "You should have said hello to him. It won't harm, you know," he continued. "No means no, Raffy, and you already know why." She is aware that Mason is a major distraction, something she does not need at this time. Knowing just a tiny bit about him would suffice. " And we're not going to talk about him, okay?" "Sure, Princess," he says, twiddling his shoulders. "Did you finish your Management assignment?" She shook her head. "Don't tell me you stayed up late again at the hotel?" This time she nodded. She's heading straight from class to the Empire Hotel, which is owned by their family, to work as a part-time chambermaid. She wanted to learn about the company's complexity since she hopes to manage it someday. "Have you heard anything about the twins?" As Raffy inquired about her children, she took a deep breath and her eyes watered. Despite her objections, her mother strategically leaves images of the twins around the house, and her father frequently sends her an email. She keeps it all, printing the ones from the email and storing it in a box under her bed. If she sees the photographs of her twins, she will find it difficult to finish what she has already begun. Even her own parents will be perplexed as to why she did this. And it is difficult for her, but she refuses to explain it to anyone. "Though I cannot understand that stupid reason ..... reasonS," he emphasized the 's'. "of you, I am here to support okay?" He smiled at then winked. And Raffy really helps her to shoo away those unwanted guys around her. He works as her shield and looking at him, he is enjoying it, being her bodyguard. She studied her friend. Raffy is handsome, but of course, Alex is more handsome. Wise he is, but of course, for her, Alex is wiser and more talented. Her Alex ..... She sighed deeply. She has no right to refer to him as hers because he has never been hers. She simply snatched him from her best friend... to a woman who treated her like a sister. Raffy volunteered to take her to her classroom. She simply sat calmly in the first part of the lecture hall and took her laptop from her bag. Her class was about to begin, and she had another hectic week ahead of her. She has to concentrate on her schoolwork right now, and destruction is the last thing she needs. Thinking on what has happened in the past or what has yet to happen. ** "Cam, hurry!" She nods and pushed the housekeeping trolly where she placed the new towels and toiletries that they will use in the Presidential Suite. "You clean the bathroom, and I'll change the sheets," Marhia, her Mexican colleague, instructed. She's polite but stern at work because the woman doesn't know who she truly is. Only the manager is aware that she is the hotel owner's daughter. She did act quickly. As soon as the previous guest left the hotel, they were informed that another person will occupy the room. She smiled when another memory came in her. She and Alex used to fight over cleaning the toilet. Just to end the discussion, he's cleaning it but will not talk to her afterward. She really cannot see herself cleaning a bathroom, but still, she ended up doing it so, here in her work. She sniffed around to know how pleasant the smell of it then smiled as it satisfies her. Another quick look around the bathroom before she steps out. She helped Marhia clean the room. They are almost done when they heard voices outside the suite. "They've arrived!" She immediately gathered the cleaning supplies and tucked them away in the storage closet. As the front door swung open, they stood tall on the threshold. "Darn!" They were taken aback when a young man entered, followed by many men carrying baggage and others who appeared to be bodyguards. "Make certain that no one follows me here!" "That's for sure, Ivan ......" When she heard the visitor's name, her eyes brightened. Ivan Carlson? She slowly lifted her head and turned to face the man. She froze as she noticed the stranger staring at her. He's Ivan Carlson, the NBA's top rookie, and she's a huge fan! Aside from being attractive, being half-Filipino is an added plus! "What are you staring at, maid ?!" As he glances at her, he raises his brow. "When you're through cleaning, leave my room!" They hurriedly left the suite and closed the door at her back! "Did you know that he's the one who will stay in here?" She asked Marhia. "Oh no!" The lady shook her head "If I just knew that he is the one, I will bring the big poster that my son bought yesterday!" she saw the excitement on her face. "But with that attitude, I doubt if he will allow you to even come near him," if he doesn't want people to go gaga over him, why did he join the National League? She snorted. Ivan is just new but he acts like a total asshole! She pushed her trolly placed on the side of the hallway as Marhia walked with her. "But still, I will try my luck!" she added. She shook her head and thought about Ivan. Handsome he is, yes, but very rude! And he called her maid?! If he just knew who she really is, for sure, he will think twice before calling her names. "I'll go on the third floor and start to clean room 3314," she bid farewell to Marhia who still looked dreamy.
