The stillness of my room surprised me. It was an unusual silence. I shook my head and laughed a bit. It had stayed the same when I first slammed here inside. The strange feeling was because I knew that Japen was no longer in the room.
"Hindi ka pwedeng lumabas. Pasalamat ka at mabait ako ngayon kaya palalampasin ko ang ginawa mong paglabas, Azora. Hindi ko lang maintindihan kung bakit hindi mo kasama ang katulong na aali-aligid sa 'yo. Nasa'n ba ang isang 'yon, ha?"
I slammed my back on the soft bed and ignored Simmy's word. My eyes stayed still on the ceiling. The soft glow that's coming from my lampshade made it possible for me to see the white and boring ceiling.
"Azora, naririnig mo ba ako?"
Simmy's voice had became more nuisance so I raised my hand and gestured her to go outside.
