"Hey," I called him again but he did not respond. I pouted.
He stopped when we reached the front of passenger door. He opened the door for me and ushered me to sit in the passenger seat. I did not dare to defy him. Well, I did not want to embarass myself in front of him again. He then closed the door and made his way to the driver's seat.
He hopped in and started the engine. "Hindi ka bumalik kaninang tanghali. Masamang magpalipas ng gutom," he suddenly said.
I looked at Japen. His face was serious like he meant what he said. I then looked outside the window. I did not want to stare at him again and who knows what embarrassing ideas would came out from my mind then.
