PROLOGUE
"He don't love you anymore!"
The sound of an echoing slap once again filled the quiet street. I lost my balance and a truck suddenly hit me. This time, I died to early.
"He don't love you anymore!" I was slapped again and died.
"He don't love you anymore!" Again.
"He don't love you anymore!"
And again.
"He don't love you anymore!"
And again.
"He don't love you anymore!"
Again. Pagod na 'ko, paulit-ulit na 'kong bumabalik dito. Kailan ba 'ko makakapagpahinga? This bullshit. Can I just die now? Is it really hard to end my life?
The pain of being hit by a truck made me numb that I'll fall before getting slapped again. Napatingin ako sa kamay na muling dadapo sa mukha ko, should I just finish it now? I'm tired. For god's sake! This is already the ninety-ninth time!
Oo na! Alam kong tanga ako. Oo na! Eto na nga gagalaw na hindi ko na kailangang magpabangga!
His palm landed on my right cheek, even though I've been slapped for hundred times already, my cheeks still sting! I held my right cheeks then closed my eyes. Nang makabawi ako sa pagkagulat ay agad na dumapo ang mabigat kong kamay sa pagmumukha ni Noah.
Sinampal mo 'ko ng halos isang daan na beses? Sige, mag-sampalan tayo. Hindi ko kayo uurungan. Napataas ang kilay ko nang mapasigaw si Chloe sa ginawa ko, what the f**k is that mouth? Damn, she sounded like a wailing dog.
"What the hell, Ravi?" Hiyaw ni Noah saakin.
"You slapped me, I slapped back. What do you want me to do? Kiss you after slapping me? Hindi ako bobo, Noah at mas lalong hindi ako desperada, Chloe! Bobo lang ang di makakaramdam!" God, cut the crap! I want to rest already!
Well, I'm an idiot for dying in this scene like a desperate girl looking for love. I rolled my eyes when Chloe started crying while hugging my bastard ex.
"Why are you doing this, Ravi? We didn't do anything wrong! We just loved each other, is that a bad thing for you?" Chloe asked while crying.
My face fell as I smiled sarcastically at her. Alright, I'm so done with this b***h. No one stopping me from doing anything wrong. Unfortunately, Chloe was my bestfriend. She was actually like an angel, always so kind, gentle and everything. But this f*****g angel doesn't have the thing called 'common sense'!
"I died for how many times already and getting resurrected again and again in this scene! Do you think I'll give a damn about you two?" I calmed myself while massaging my temple. I got nothing to get on hurting this b***h.
Tumingin ako sakanila at halatang naguguluhan sa mga sinabi ko. Noah was still shocked when I slapped him. I mean who wouldn't? I was head over heels with him for some stupid reasons. I didn't care about how I looked like and if it's ruining my work.
I was about to walk out from their stupid sight when I realized something's off—parang may kulang. What did I missed? Napakunot ang noo ko at nag-isip sa harapan nilang dalawa. Hmm.
"Y-you're crazy, Raviene!"
Tumingin ako muli kay Noah na sumigaw. I just rolled my eyes while thinking what I have missed. Ang hirap mag isip pag gutom nga naman.
I got slapped—right, then I slapped Noah back, then after that I burst out. . .
"...ey, can you hear me?"

"Miss, can you hear me?!"
Ah right! The truck haven't appeared yet. It should be here right now thoug—uh what? I blinked a few times. Who's this handsome god in front of me? Did I just succeeded on dying? Can I finally rest? Oh my god, thank you!
"Can I rest now?" Wala sa sarili kong tanong.
The handsome guy arched his brows. Mukha s'yang pamilyar saakin, tinignan kong maigi ang kanyang buong mukha, pinindot ko ang pisngi nitong sing lambot ng bulak. Anong gamit n'yang sabon? Ang kanyang mala tsokolateng mga mata ay seryosong nakatingin saakin habang ang mga maskuladong braso nito ay naka-krus sakanyang dibdib.

Na saan na nga pala si Chloe at Noah? Mukhang wala pa naman ako sa langit, nakalimutan ko atang naka inom ako. Hindi ba't hinihintay kong dumaan yung truck—

Napa tingin ako muli sa lalaking nasa harap ko, prente akong naka upo sa kalsada habang nakanganga. I blinked my eyes few times again.
