"During midnight there are guards that are roaming around the campus. It might be one of Mr. Moulin's men to protect the gold bars hiding in his office," Dos explained.

We are all looking at the blueprint on the wooden table. Dos already checked the CCTV camera because he already hacked their system so easily. He saw that there were really guards roaming around. And also, there are guards with a shotgun on their chest guarding the hallway near Mr. Moulin's office. It makes sense.

"I will have to go first then I'll give you both some go signals. It's easy for me to put them to sleep," I suggested. I pointed out the gate near the entrance of his office. "Alam ko kung saan ang pasikot papunta sa opisina niya dahil madalas ako ro'n."

"It's not safe for you to go alone first, Ivory," si Hansen na ayaw na ayaw ako mapag-isa dahil natatakot siya sa kalagayan ko. "We have to go together."

"I am trained for this, Hansen. Don't be such a pussy."

I rolled my eyes in annoyance. I really hate it when someone is trying to be a prince because I'm a woman. The least thing I want to be is to be a damsel in distress.

"Trust her," Uno said, sounding confident. His eyes slowly gaze at my direction. "She is a good fighter. I always trust her and her plans."

"Thanks," I replied.

Hansen scoffed. "Fine. What else?"

The grumpy side of him is already showing. His thick eyebrows are pinched together with a hint of exasperated tingling on his brooding eyes. My eyes drifted on his defined jaw clenching gloriously.

"I'll be your eyes because I already hacked their CCTV cameras. Just listen to me carefully," Dos instructed strictly. "Always remember your distance with each other. Our main goal is to get the gold bars and we're out."

I smirked. "Let's roll, gentlemen. We have a long night."

I am wearing a tight leather suit colored black. Which is easy for me to move and to hide in the dark if ever the enemy is near. There are also some accessible pockets for me to put my guns with.

"Do you know how to use the gun?" I inquired.

Napatingin bigla si Hansen sa akin. Mabuti na lang hindi siya mukhang offended sa tanong ko. Kailangan ko malaman para alam ko kung kailan ko siya b-back up-an.

"Yeah, I know," he answered lazily. His hand grabbed the pistol and showed me how to c**k the gun. "I can shoot someone. Don't worry about me."

"Hmm. Good to know. I'm confident that you got my back when someone is trying to kill me, right?"

His deep set eyes watched me. His body paused for a minute before he gave me a simple nod.

He huffed. "I got you, baby."

We were both fell silent. Siguro naiilang ako sa paraan nang pagtawag niya. Ang alam ko lang ay masyado na siyang sanay na magsabi ng gano'n na salita sa isang babae. Huminga ako ng malalim at tinalikuran siya.

There are instances that we are still arguing over petty reasons, but our relationship leveled up somehow. Lalo na desidido siya matuto kung paano lumaban para sa amin dalawa. Lalo na't mukhang hirap siya paano niya mac-contact ang pamilya niya para matulungan kami.

The lethal bracelet stops us from escaping. Once we're running away from them, they will blow our bracelet easily. I must find my way out or else they are gonna use me as their robot.

After we are preparing, we already hop inside the luxury car. It is really fast and it's cool to ride in this kind of car. Mahirap lang ako kaya ngayon ko pa lang nararanasan sumakay sa isang mamahalin na sasakyan.

Si Uno ngayon ang driver namin. Naka upo naman si Hansen sa shotgun seat habang ako ay mag-isa sa passenger seat.

I wondered if Uno is trying his best to help me or he is trying to lock me in the cage forever to be their pawn. Uno is known as the most intelligent man ever in Marseille family. Lalo na't nalaman ko na siya ang nag-imbento ng lethal bracelet. Kahit papaano pwede niya i-turn off kung gusto niya man ako tulungan.

Gusto niya ba talaga ako tulungan?

The safest answer is probably no. Wala siyang ginagawa at takot siya sa kaniyang panganay na Ate. Kaya wala ako pakielam kung may pinagsamahan man kami ni Uno noon kung wala naman siya balak tulungan ako bilang isang kaibigan. Napatingin ako kay Uno na nagmamaneho papunta sa unibersidad. Mabilis nagtama ang paningin namin through rearview mirror. Ako na ang umiwas ng tingin habang nakatitig sa labas.

Nakarating na kami sa unibersidad at hindi kalayuan. All of us turn on our earpiece so we can communicate with each other. Ako ang nauna na bumaba kasi nakapag plano na kami kung paano papasok at paano papatumbahin iyong tauhan ni Hubert.

"Let me knock out the guard first," I declared.

I was walking swiftly to the gate near the entrance of the campus. There are guards watching the CCTV camera, while the other one is sipping some coffee while reading a newspaper. My eyes landed on the floor, then I grabbed a rock.

Hinagis ko iyon sa malayo at dalawa sila napatingin kung saan tumama ang bato. Tumakbo papunta sa akin si Uno at yumuko. Tumungtong ako sa likuran niya para maka-akyat ako sa pader. Naka akyat naman ako sa taas at nakikita ko iyong guard na mukhang litong-lito sa nangyayari.

"What was that?" the guard asked. "Reynaldo, you check it!"

The other guard scoffed. "As usual."

"In the count of three, I'll manipulate the CCTV camera system," ani Dos.

I waited for Dos to hack the system. Naglakad na iyong isang guwardiya papunta sa malayo para matingnan iyon. Habang ang isa naman ay napatayo dahil nagblanko ang screen.

"Merde! What the hell is happening?!"

It was my cue to jump down. He was startled when I appeared behind him. I gave him a tornado kick which made him face the floor. Mabilis ako lumapit sa guard para itago iyong katawan niya. Ang himbing ng tulog niya kasi ang lakas ng atake ko sa kaniya.

"I found nothing there. Maybe just a random cat again."

Naglalakad na pabalik ang isa kaya nagtago ako sa lilim. Pinatay ko ang ilaw kaya napahinto siya. Ngumisi ako.

"What the f**k are you doing!"

My lips left a wicked laugh. I heard him gasp then grab his flash flight from his belt. Naglakad ako palapit sa kaniya.

"Can't see me?" I whispered.

Humarap siya sa gawi ko at natapat sa akin ang ilaw ng flashlight. Before he reacted I launched a hard punch on his jaw and kicked his knee because it made him whimper in pain then lose his consciousness.

"Two guards are down. I repeat, two guards are down," I reported.

I unlocked the gate. Hindi man lang ako pinagpawisan sa dalawang guwardiya na nagbabantay. They are both fat and don't fit to be a guard. Uno and Hansen are walking in my direction as I braced myself for another attack on his men inside the campus. We saw that they were roaming around with a shotgun.

I am concerned about Hansen because he might not dodge the bullet. Shotgun is very fatal to the point it literally blows your face.

“Are you both ready?” Uno asked.

I chuckled. “Born ready.”

Ako na nauna maglakad. Biglang nagkatinginan sina Hansen at Uno sa isa’t-isa kasi dumaan ako sa gitna nila.

Kinuha ko iyong pistol ko na nilagyan ko ng silencer. Ayaw ko na mabulabog silang lahat kapag may binaril ako. Pumasok na kaming tatlo at dahan-dahan kami naglalakad para walang ingay. Si Uno ang look-out ko sa likod habang si Hansen ay tumitingin sa gilid.

Mabuti na lang nakapasok kami. Sobrang dilim ng paligid. The torch is on fire on the wall which is why my eyes are illuminated with dimmed light. I saw a men standing on each side of the stairs.

I gave Uno a sign to take down the other guy. He gave me a nod. Sinandal ko lang si Hansen sa pader para hindi siya makita sa liwanag. Nagtagis ang bagang niya sa inis.

“Do I look like a props to you?” he grumbled.

My lips went near his ear shell. “Nope. But I want you to behave.”

My cat eyes gave him a deadly glare. Tinalikuran ko siya para pumunta malapit sa tauhan ni Hubert. Akmang sasakalin ko ang lalaki nang bigla nagpakita si Hansen sa ilaw. Kaya biglang tumayo iyong dalawang lalaki at tinutok sa kaniya iyong baril.

“How the f**k did you come here?!”

I heard the other man grunted in pain because he was being attacked by Uno. Sumipol ako para makuha ko ang atensyon ng lalaki. Lumingon siya sa akin at lumapit ako sa kaniya. I twisted his neck until he fell asleep. Natumba siya sa lapag at ang dilim ng tingin ko kay Hansen.

“You are not listening to me,” I stated.

“I told you, I am not a props!” He gave me an eye-roll. Sinipa niya iyong mukha ng lalaki na pinatumba ko. “I can help you!”

Biglang lumitaw si Uno sa tabi ko. He seemed annoyed.

“You’re gonna get yourself killed,” si Uno. Inayos niya ang suit niya at napatingin sa akin. “Come on, Ivory. Show me the way.”

I smirked. “Volontier.”

Umakyat na kami sa second floor kung saan na ang opisina ni Hubert. May dalawang hallway papunta sa opisina niya kaya nagbigay ako ng sign kay Uno na doon siya sa kabila. Dahil panigurado na nandoon ang ibang mga tauhan. Nauna na naglakad doon si Uno habang hawak ang pistol sa kamay niya.

“Follow me,” I ordered. Nilingon ko si Hansen na tahimik akong tinitingnan. “Be careful behind my back.”

He gave me a nod. “Of course, baby.”

Nauna na ako sa kaniya at bigla ako napasandal sa pader nang makita ko ang paparating na lalaki. He was holding the shotgun on his chest. He looks like a comrade watching every sight to protect the vault in the office.

I grabbed the tear gas from Hansen’s vest. I removed the pin then threw it to the guy. He looked so shocked until the tear gas exploded. He was choking and coughing because he inhaled the gas. I wore the mask and I’m very glad Hansen did the same thing because this was our plan all along to fight his men against the three of us.

Hansen hit his elbow to his opponent. My eyes widened when a man was trying to stand up while pointing the shotgun in Hansen's direction. I immediately run toward the opponent then glide to the floor to kick his feet. He stumbled down on the floor while hearing him groaning and coughing.

I c****d the gun then pulled the trigger. His blood splatter on my suit.

“Ivory, watch out!” Hansen shouted.

Nang lumingon ako may isang lalaki na sumakal sa akin. My eyes grew bigger when he strangled me using his forearm. I was choking so hard until he pushed me against the wall. My feet suddenly walked to the wall then jumped behind him. Mabuti na lang nakawala ako sa pagkakasakal. I grabbed his head then hit his forehead on my knee.

May lalaki rin na aatake kay Hansen kaya mabuti naunahan ko. I shot him on the chest right away to prevent him from hurting Hansen from the back.

I smirked inwardly. I didn’t know we could get along as partners. Masaya ako na we got our back.

“Come on. His men might come here any second.”

Napatingin ako kay Uno na hingal na hingal. Ikaw ba naman mag-isa kalabanin ang mga tauhan niya sa kabila. Sabay na kami naglakad papunta sa pintuan. I took my pin from my hair to unlock the door.

“You cannot open tha—” si Hansen.

All of us heard the click sound. Ningisihan ko siya habang binibigyan siya na mayabang tingin. Halatang wala siya alam sa mga ganito.

“Women secret key,” I muttered.

Binuksan ko ang pintuan at pumasok na kaming tatlo. Nagulat na lang kami biglang bumukas ang ilaw. Umikot bigla ang swivel chair at biglang nagpakita ro’n si Hubert. He was smirking from ear to ear. My eyes widened.

“I didn’t believe her at first, but she was right after all. You are coming for my gold bars,” si Hubert na prente na nakasandal sa backrest habang pinagmamasdan ako. Biglang nagpakita ang babae na nagsabi sa akin sa restroom. “Thank you for telling me about her.”

The woman chuckled. “You know that I love you, Sir.”

May lumabas na dalawang tauhan niya mula sa sulok at tinutok sa amina ng rifle nila. Napalunok ako habang nag-iisip kung ano na gagawin namin. Nasabi sa amin ni Dos na walang CCTV camera sa loob ng opisina ni Hubert kaya blind spot talaga namin ang opisina niya.

“Do you think you will fool me, Miss Ceretti?” Hubert mocked. “I investigate you because I always target the wealthiest women in this university. It showed that you are poor as a rat.”

I gritted my teeth in anger. My hand is balling into fist until my knuckles turn white. If his men were not only pointing their guns, I would’ve easily killed him with my pistol. My eyes shot at the woman who trapped me in this f*****g mess.

“Put your gun down. You will not leave my office alive,” he added.
