"WHAT for?"
Sabay na nagkatinginan sina Bleu at Calithea. Muli ay lumagok ako sa baso saka kumuha ng fried chicken sa babasaging plato. Ibinaling ko ang tingin sa tumutogtog sa harap.
"To know his side?" Patanong na sagot ni Calithea. She shook her head. "To end his chase? So you could lift the burden inside your chest?"
"Burden?" Nagsalubong ang kilay ko. "Calithea, I am happy. If anything he should be the one feeling burden, not me."
"As he already is." Nakisali si Bleu. "Priston has been bugging me about your whereabouts. Nieoni told me he's contacting her, too."
Tumingin ako kay Calithea. She's having difficulties looking at me in the eyes.
"I.. did talk to him." She confessed. Guilt overtook her face and it became as clear as crystal. "I think you should hear him out."
