"Heather, this is Jean Deveaux. He will be your bodyguard and driver from now on."
Ang totoo, walang pumapasok sa isip ni Heather. She did not even know if she was breathing anymore, nor how many times she had swallowed. Nakatingin lang siya kay Jean. He was wearing a suit. Black one. His hair was longer. Parang hindi na ito nagpagupit pa. His pair of green eyes she had not seen for three months and two weeks were being hit by the afternoon sun rays, gazing at her . . . in the eyes.
Jean hadn't talk yet, but with the expression on his face, she could tell he was happy to see her.
Heather wanted to be happy as well. Pero may kung anong lungkot ang bumalot sa kanyang puso.
